Don't look for a support from this doctor because this is not what she can do. Even more she will make this heartbreaking experience even harder for your loved ones by cream unnecessary difficulties with very basic paperwork to request social support services. My husband was admitted to City of Hope under Dr. Xing’s care. My husband was not informed of the potential benefits of life-extending treatment while he was in hospital for over a week. She never came to see him nor did she send a representative from her department. Instead of describing what benefits, or deficits, could be incurred, she chose to make no contact. A representative from the End-of-Life Options on-site program did visit, numerous times when no advocate was present. His amazing radiologist, Dr. Sampath, came to visit my husband twice to explain in-person the challenges they were having with the radiation. We were under the impression City of Hope is a world-class cancer treatment center. My husband did not receive work-class treatment from the Chemo dept.
