She has no compassion she should not be in medical. The last time I seen her she was angry at me. Said she couldn’t treat me anymore and she didn’t tell me what my blood results were I found out 5 months later my Potassium was low and my liver numbers was off. Now I’m fighting like hell to get my Potassium back up I have lost lot’s of my hair and having heart problems cause of her incompetence. Her nurse isn’t much better

Dr. Ru has been my doctor for over 6 yrs. She was great at first, but for over a year she has wasted my appointment time talking about her political views. I get 15 minutes for my issues and assessment, and she talks politics the other 45 minutes. I think it is time to retire. I am looking for a new oncologist now.

My husband has been suffering from Chronic Fatigue. We had gone to many doctors to figure out what was wrong. After several test Dr. Ru found the problem. My husband has a procedure coming up, but he is bouncing back. We are so grateful to her. Thank You for giving me back my husband.

I would not recommend Dr.Ru who did not monitor patient properly. She did NOT order any PET/CT scan for patient who was diagnosed with stage 3B colon cancer, finished preventive chemo therapy for 6 months, then followed up with Dr.Ru every 3-6months for 4.5years. The only thing monitored was CEA level and blood labs. Then, when patient had vaginal discharge, Dr.Ru finally ordered PET scan. The result was metastasis to female organs, and surgeon in torrancs could not remove it.

I went to Dr Ru several years ago, on a recommendation from Torrance Memorial. First, she told me she stages cancer based on what she feels her patients can handle. ("Instead of Stage IV, I'll say they have two Stage II tumors") Then, she said my PET scan said I had lung cancer, and when two radiologists confirmed that I didn't. She also said I didn't need a second tumor biopsied because it would be the same as the first. She was wrong. I'm alive because I left her practice and went to COH

I am a lower white blood cell patient and have been a patient of Dr. Jenny Ru for several years. Usually her office puts everything on the patient Portal and won’t help the patient print out the prescription/test report and wants to train the patient to use the computer no matter they can or not or charge extra $1.00/paper fee, even though I have Blue Cross/Shield PPO and pay $40 co-pay. Recently, Dr. Ru’s Portal did not update a lab test order and caused the test results not for this visit c

Dr Ru fought for my wife's life for 4 years in her battle with multiple myeloma. Throughout that time she displayed a deep knowledge of the latest developments in the search for a cure of this, so far, incurable disease. She is incredibly professional and compassionate; attuned to her patient's personal needs beyond just medical treatment. My wife and I had the greatest confidence in her skill as a physician and a deep appreciation for the friendship she extended us. We were so lucky to have her
