Dr. Xiaoyuan Xie, MD

Dr. Xia listened to me and she studied my file so I did not have to answer everything I’d already reported so many times. The treatment I’ve received has been effective and caring. I would definitely recommend Dr. Xia and the Pain Clinic to anyone who asks.

I had these horrible hospitalizing headaches that would last days. Over 300 injections from multiple different doctors that used me as a medical experiment. After 4 months of pain and suffer God let me find Dr. Xie she is heavenly sent. Not only did she save me but I have been headache free since 2017. God bless this woman and everyone around her. I could not imagine what would have been without her. Dr. Xie treated me like a dear friend she literally took the time and truly cared for me and didn’t give up on me until I was 100% no one I mean no one comes close to the care and love Dr. Xie gives her Patients. She looked at my MRIs rather than reading the report only, and found the problem (which other doctors said didn't exist) immediately. She's kind of gruff and not much of a conversationalist, but she solved the problem that I'd had for 7 months and couldn't get anyone else to take seriously. Swedish is a small community hospital and it does not have the bells and whistles of a Northwestern or U of C, but it's affordable and friendly and fairly easy to get an appointment.

Dr. Xie was respectful of pain complaints, giving me several alternatives for pain control,, she virtually saved me from a life of back pain, offering and providing help that I was unable to get from several other doctors (including a n orthopedic doctor, chiropractor and pain specialist.
