I initially saw Dr. Liu for kidney stones, and he ended up finding and treating my prostate cancer as well. A smart guy, excellent surgeon (more than one hospital nurse commented on how he was the best), and I can tell he really cares about his patients. Discusses issues honestly and treats you like a partner in decision making. Hard to find a doctor like him these days. Highly recommend!

I came to Dr. Liu after I was diagnosed with a malignant cyst in the veins and arteries of my right kidney. I was highly recommended to Dr Liu and Greater Boston Urology by my oncologist. Dr. Liu wasted no time and removed the kidney before the cancer spread. His follow up was great through issues with the remaking kidney. He has a great way about him and his bedside manor is impeccable. His staff are kind and professional and made this process comfortable and tolerable. Thanks to their support and competence I am cancer free, extremely healthy and back in the gym. I owe my life to Dr. Liu and his wonderful staff and highly recommend them.

Excellent doctor and surgeon. Really knows his stuff and is honest about what needs to be done and the best course of action to take. Spent the time to listen to me and to explain everything to me in person, then went the extra mile to explain everything again to my daughter on the phone because she is out of state. Would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a smart and honest surgeon.

He is very rude. He submitted one of ny claim as level 4. i asked him why was it level 4.. then he said that there are no level 1 and 2 complexity. and 95% cases are treated with level 4 complexity and that's how it works in America".

He is very knowledgeable and my green light laser surgery results are excellent. At times he does seem rushed but do not let that deter you from seeing him.

I had my first visit with Dr. Liu today and was extraordinarily happy with his treatment of me. He was a wonderful person with a manner that made me feel very at ease. He was articulate and spent a good deal of time with me listening to my explanation. His advise was clear and precise. I would highly recommend him.
