Dr. Xi Na, MD

I went here based on a referral from my pcp for my first routine colonoscopy. Dr. Na was very pleasant and knowledgeable. She and the nursing staff kept me comfortable and calm for the procedure.

I went in for an endoscopy, which was difficult to schedule through her office. The day of the endoscopy was the first time I had met with her. She asked how much anesthesia I use, which of course, I had no clue. With her educated guess, I went under. I then remember waking up because I started coughing and could feel the camera equipment tossing round inside me. I heard them say at that point…more anesthesia. When I came to my stomach was in pain, bruised and never the same. I mentioned it to her team and they ignored me as did my primary care Dr. All I wanted to do was to get advice on what I can do to improve my health issue. At this point, it really is disappointing to know that health care in Massachusetts has had a dramatic decline in recent years and Dr. Na is one I would stay far away from.

I went to Dr. Na because I was having stomach pain, vomiting and upset stomach. She repeatedly told me it was because I was overweight but still ordered tests. She then diagnosed me with something—but my issues continued and she would not listen to me. She would frequently talk over me, always ran late, and her staff were rude and gave off “high school mean girl” vibes. I’ve been seeing a new GI and been feeling better and feeling heard.

Immediately after a routine screening colonoscopy, I developed very painful, very unpleasant symptoms and needed emergency care and an overnight stay in the hospital. I was perfectly fine before the procedure. Never ever again.

I just had my 50 year old colonoscopy screening with Dr. Na. She removed 4 pre-cancerous polyps. I couldn't be more pleased with her skill and technique. Thank you Dr. Na. See you in three years.

Very bad experience with Dr Na. She is incompetent. I almost died during a procedure.

I was transferred to Dr. Na when my other GI Dr left the practice. I have been extremely displeased with her since becoming her patient. She has no bedside manners, no compassion for her patients. I went due to months of severe stomach pain. Unable to eat or drink. She schedule a few tests, which were incomplete orders, failed to respond to mgs and lied on my medical chart. When I brought the information to her attention she said she was busy with another patient. To follow w my pcp.

Dr. Na was very professional, extremely pleasant and informative explaining the procedure to me. Her staff was also so pleasant and reassuring. They were very helpful and kind to me during my visit before and after the procedure.
