The right doctor for me
Dr Hosmer knows how to treat his patients with knowledge, compassion and comfort. I saw the doctor as a result of some slightly abnormal blood numbers. When I left we had a plan that was clear and logical. The doctor left me with the sense that I was with the right person and my concerns were understood.

Knowledgeable, caring and professional
Dr Hosmer and all his staff is professional, caring and positive. You never feel rushed. They answer any and all questions you may have. Things happen quickly-they schedule scans, etc which happen within a week. I would definitely recommend Dr Hosmer for anyone with a cancer diagnosis.

Dr. Hosmer is great. I highly recommend him.
All visits with Dr Hosmer are reassuring and highly informative. He is very caring. Both my wife and I have him as our oncologist, and he is wonderful.

Very Satisfied Patient
I have been being treated for Multiple Myeloma by Dr. Hosmer and the Hartford Healthcare Cancer treatment center in Plainville/New Britain since last August. Dr. Hosmer and the entire staff have been outstanding. Dr. Hosmer is very direct and answers all questions in a calm and straight forward way. I never feel rushed through my appointments and always come away feeling very positive about my progress.

Recommend
Dr. Hosmer is one of those doctors who actually talks and listens to you, with no rush to get out the door. Has been attentive to my inputs and where possible and reasonable has made adjustments, instills confidence. Very easy to speak with, professional.

Be careful about promises of complete cure. Especially if you are senior. Dr. Hosmer will keep bringing up the “team” which takes forever on deciding best treatment. It took 4 months before my father received his first radiation treatment for his lung cancer. That, and “wait and see” treatment method contributed to his demise after 9 months of diagnosis.

Doctor Hosmer not only treated his patient, my sister, with great care and understanding, he was always willing to talk to me about my sister and her situation and to explain everything completely. I could count on him to return my calls. And this wonderful doctor actually called me personally to send his condolences.

He is the greatest! I love this man. He has been so attentive and compassionate with me. He explained everything to me and takes his time with me. There is no feeling of being rushed. He even called me to see how I was doing after my first chemo treatment. I was blessed to get him for my oncologist. Excellent doctor and person. Thank you for everything Dr. Hosmer. I appreciate it more than I can ever express to you.
