Dr. Woosuk Yoon, MD

Dr, Yoon was very nice and friendly. Explained everything to me and my options. They did all the tests I needed to confirm my cataract surgery. Everyone there was so nice.

How mad he was because of earlier patient delay and felt he could yell at me because of it.

No glasses were given or offered after eyes were dilated!!!! DR.YOON, DR. PATEL AND MELISSA take a few minutes to remind the staff. UNFORTUNATELY ZERO STARS CAN'T BE GIVEN. Dr. Patel was the only friendly staff member.

He was extremely condescending, and the worst experience with a doctor I have ever had! He may be good at eye related issues, but he is horrible at communicating/answering questions. He can’t be bothered to explain things, and gets irritated easily. I had about 3 or 4 eyeappointments with him, and in every case, i came out of his office with the perception that he is a mean individual, and actually scary to be around. I will never go back. I did not feel comfortable around him. He didn’t even seem like he cared at all about putting me at ease. He is a JERK!!

After over 20 years of having very limited sight in my left eye after Dr. Yoon performed cataract surgery on me at the Yavitz Eye Institute, and unwilling to fix what he did wrong, I have finally found a doctor that is fixing his horrible work this Tuesday. Be leary, very leary to let this man touch your precious sight. I am living proof that it CAN happen to you too.

I had PRK laser vision correction eye surgery performed by Dr. Yoon (the best eye doctor!) at Rockford Eye & Laser Center back on April 19th, 2018 and I couldn’t be more pleased with the final results as I now have 20/15 vision! Dr. Yoon is so knowledgeable, professional and is a perfectionist when it comes to making sure you achieve the greatest results possible from surgery. I can't thank him enough!

I was referred to Doctor Yoon by my optometrist due to a metal piece that was kicked into my eye while doing yard work. His office scheduled the appointment for later that day and although the procedure was terrifying because of what was involved, I was comforted by Doctor Yoon throughout and we helped ease my anxiety. I ended up needing a procedure to remove damage to the surface of my cornea and I am glad I went to Doctor Yoon. He is the real deal and I trust him with me sight.

I have been under Dr Yoon's care for many years for glaucoma and recently for cataract surgery in both eyes with great success. I have trust in his professionalism and Dr Tylka. I would recommend him to anyone who wants good care of their eyesight.

Mom couldn't be happier since Dr. Yoon performed her surgery. Her experience with Dr Yoon and his staff was terrific. Her questions were addressed along the way. Everyone was so nice and professional. We highly recommend Dr Yoon!

Had cataract surgery done came out perfect! Don’t need glasses except for readers! Great bedside manners, would refer anyone I know!

First I appreciated getting worked in by Dr. Yoon. However he minimized my condition and treated me with no respect. Maybe if you have a condition that generates $$ you might get better treatment.

His bed side manor is awful which shows you he clearly doesn't care about you. If you ask too many questions, he'll say something like "I have other patients to see I don't have time to sit here with you." Or he'll leave one of his nurses with you because his time is too precious. He belittles his staff even though they're wonderful, no wonder there's a new face each time I went there. Oh & be prepared to wait forever it's always a disaster, he makes his schedule insane to make the most money.

Sad I have to even press 1 star. Should be the choice of none. Asked for a copy of medical records 2 weeks ago and finally told I have to pay $30 for 2 pages. They still have not faxed the copy to a specialist in Madison! In regards to my office visit a year ago, it was awful! Your put through like cattle. Dr was VERY RUDE when I asked questions. Found out I should have had treatment then and they did NOTHING but ask me if I want a "fake diagnosis"with every question I asked. Avoid this dr

Dr. Yoon was recommended to me by a friend as an extremely qualified ophthalmologist. I was not disappointed. In fact, I was completely impressed with all aspects of his practice. This doctor is my doctor of choice for eye care now and in the future.

I bring my mother to Dr. Yoon for her eye care because she is diabetic. I love the staff there, they are so friendly and very nice to my mother. I am impressed with the complete eye exam my mother gets by Dr. Yoon, and if she has bleeding in her eye he is able to treat her right there in the office. We are both very happy with this office.
