Dr. Woon Sim, MD

I am writing to share my feedback about the medical care provided by Dr. Sim and his staff. While I am not making accusations, there were concerns with the diagnosis that led to a delay in proper treatment for my parent's health. I am grateful that the correct diagnosis from a different doctor wasn't fatal or serious. Additionally, I feel like there should be better quality standards, especially in interactions with patients. Considering that there are patients who are ill or elderly, maintaining a professional and compassionate approach is vital in healthcare. I have observed unprofessional and consistently rude behavior from the office manager, which I find unacceptable. It seems that other patients have expressed the same concern, but nothing is being addressed in how she conducts herself which poorly affects the quality of care that patients receive at the clinic.

I told you that my husband is only available between 9 and 10, but when you said that only April is available, I said April was okay. However, you said that reservations are available at 11:45 pm at the end of March, so I said it wouldn't work and asked if it would be okay to make a reservation in April, but then you suddenly changed the person making the reservation. The new person asked for the birthdate again and informed me that there was no availability for earlier reservations. I expressed my frustration at the difficulty of making reservations and suggested that they should just refill the medicine instead. However, you changed the person handling the reservation again. When the third person answered the phone, you asked for the birthdate again. I asked why they kept asking the same questions, and they informed me that the patient had to call directly to make a reservation. Concur with previous reviewer here, I would not trust a loved ones care with this "Dr." I'm shocked to see how out of practice he is and how harmful his apathy is to his patients. He continued to prescribe my dad a medication that is contraindicated with his chronic kidney disease stage 4. A quick visit filled with condescension and terrible bed side manners. It is sad because a lot of people have no choice since he speaks Korean. I truly feel like people need to know about this because this is dangerous. Unclear why the staff is so rude. I understand if you are burnt out from your job, but maybe this line of work is not for you then.

If I can give this place 0 stars I would. This doctor has horrible bed side manners and does not communicate well with patients. Not knowledgeable with anything. He started off the visit asking what prescription did I think I needed. I would never let him touch a loved one. Please do not waste your time and money at this place.

Before booking new appointments everyone wants to know multiple things....but that the lady who take calls is inefficient...doesn't assist you properly with questions ...nor reply to your emails...neither do follow up..Visiting Woon K sim's place is really not wroth..

This place is rude, mean with bad communication, they are not able to provide generic information on simple annual physical ,...she is knowledgeable in booking appointments only and nothing else...total garbage/Low profile staff....I must advice to them, take your business to somewhere where they respect you /your questions/your requirements..Will Never recommend this low profile Dr.Woon K Sim/his place to anyone..

He is very kind and has been extremely helpful in our questions, waiting time is good to average, usually not full at all. Easy to set an appointment as well

updating after Dr. Sim's office visit After I left Dr. Sim's office, I found visited another doctor's office. I received treatment and one day later my chest pain disappeared and blood pressure back to normal.
