I'm an attorney and law professor that suffered for years from a serious case of obstructive sleep apnea. Dr. Yao is a SUPERB doctor and surgeon. About 4 years ago, he performed two surgeries on me to help correct my sleep apnea. Surgery number one was to remove polyps from my sinuses. Surgery number two was to remove my tonsils that were growing down my airway and to enlarge my airway (a modified UPPP). Several prior doctors I had visited did not detect the issue with my tonsils/airway. Dr. Yao detected it within a few minutes of examining me! Since those surgeries, I no longer snore (I used to snore very loudly). If you need an ENT, this is the doctor/surgeon you want. I have 100% trust in him!

Dr. Yao, "Wild Bill" lol, performed surgery to repair a CSF leak for my husband and he also corrected his deviated septum as well as remove a mass while in surgery and also provided the follow up care. Dr. Yao genuinely cared for my husband and provided answers to both of our concerns. Dr. Yao is just a wonderful human being and it shows in the way he cares for his patients and their families. If there are any more ENT concerns for any of my family in the future, we will all be going to Dr. Yao. I can't say enough good things about how we feel with the care we received. Thank you Dr. Yao and all of your staff!!

He did absolutely nothing to make me feel better. I wasted my time by seeing him. And his assistant is not very bright. I saw the doctor on Tuesday and I called back on Wednesday to get some kind of meds to help me. His assistant didn't call back until Friday and even then I was just left hanging over the weekend with no relief. I called Monday and complained. I was very upset. The assistant did not tell me that I could buy the OTC meds off of the shelf until I told her my insurance company said she didn't fill out the form properly. I was going back and forth between the insurance and the assistant to babysit the situation so it would get done. Insurance does not cover OTC meds so the PRE-AUTHORIZATION request was stupid!!! It took me a week to get a simple OTC medicine that would help me. This doctor does NOT care if I am suffering. He couldn't be bothered. He is an arrogant quack in my opinion. I am seeing a new doctor now. I am just sorry I wasted a week of my life with this quack!

I recently had sinus surgery performed by Dr. William Yao. I was a very difficult case and during surgery experienced lots of bleeding issues. Dr. Yao did extremely well under press and I am 100% satisfied with the results. I saw Dr. Yao for a total of 4 office visits. Each time he was very knowledge, understanding and listened to my concerns and husbands concerns. I would recommend him to anyone!
