I had my first visit with Dr. Wharton today after moving here from Florida. I was quite impressed that he had read my file and new my history without me having to reiterate it all. He explained everything very well and was extremely polite. "Chairside manner" was respectful. I greatly appreciate that he drives from Asheville to service our community in Highlands.

Dr. Wharton has been my Cardiologist for 19 years now, and I would recommend him to anyone. He is an extremely knowledgeable Doctor, and has a deep caring attitude towards his patients. He has a wonderful sense of humor, but when he needs to be serious, he is, with a kindness in his voice that makes you know, everything will be alright. He listens to what you have to say, and returns an assuring, interested answer. He never disregards anything about his patients.

Excellent Cardiologist, experienced, knowledgeable, and reasonable in providing care and giving you a plan for the future. Never seems rushed or impatient. Easy to recommend him to others.
