Dr. William Tronvig, DPM

It was the summer of 1980. I was young, my life felt ruined when I stepped on something. ER room x-rays didn't show a reason for the wound. The wound eventually healed. A few years later, a dime size piece of glass worked its way out of my foot. Apparently, glass does not always show up on x-rays. I should have been able to leave that accident behind me, but scar tissue had other ideas. Dr. Tronvig, in Olympia, about 40 years ago, removed that painful tissue: all of it and after six weeks on crutches, I was a new girl. After a few months, and my complete recovery, his office called and let me know that Dr Tronvig felt that, because scar tissue is dynamic and he couldn't be 100% sure that it would never bother me again--at least that was my understanding--he forgave my medical bill. I have had a healthier life, a better life since then, including forty years of jogging and walking. I'd like to thank you, Dr. Tronvig, for your skill and intervention.

He told me the break in my foot was never going to heal and I was going to be crippled for life, no matter what I did. I wasn't willing to accept this and went elsewhere, received treatment and have no problem with my foot which has healed completely.
