I was diagnosed with RA a few years ago. I had to change my Dr because of transportation. I was referred to Dr Travis. 1st visit he told me I didn't have RA he didn't know what I had. Never went back

Amazing .. Was meant to be a Dr
I had an apt with Dr Traverse & not only does he have a great bedside manner he's seems to care & is very detailed .. I see why he gets great reviews! Not sure if he can help me (not sure if I have something he treats but I'm confident he could possibly guide to Drs that might help ) it was definitely worth the apt & I think he'll try his best . He should teach med students how to be a great Dr . Heck he should teach other Drs how to be Drs . I've seen my share of Drs over the yrs & few are of this caliber in knowledge Caring & Thoroughness

Amazing
Dr Traverse literally saved my life after having been misdiagnosed for quite some time. He was very knowledgeable, compassionate and truly understood the importance of the human connection necessary in healthcare. I really can't say enough good things about this doctor. I was really sad to see him leave UConn. He will be forever in my heart as a treasured person. I wish he all the best in his new endeavors in MA. God bless this man. I would recommend Dr Traverse to anyone I know.

I have been a patient of Dr Traverse for ~9 years and he has been a god send in my care both physically and emotionally. He is extremely compassionate , takes the time to listen and has the knowledge and devotion to continuously strive to refine my therapies so that the best possible improvements are attained which is very difficult based on my complex conditions. I would highly recommend him to anyone.

I have been seeing Dr.Traverse since 2008. He has gone above and beyond For me. Because of my complications from End Stage Liver Disease. He was the only one I really trusted with my personal Health issues. I Highly recommend him as an excellent Rheumatologist. He is very understanding of many other ailments as well. He deserves 11 stars.

Dr Traverse is a thoughtful thorough physician. It is clear that he has reviewed my charts, results and history prior to each exam. I appreciate that he never seems rushed and enjoys his vocation. I would recommend him to anyone.

Dr. Traverse is a rare bird. He takes an inordinate amount of time and energy with his patients and is unusually attention-to-detail. He is a medical detective, a tenacious sleuth; and will call colleagues to confer with them about your condition. Plus he's a doll. Will chat you up about sports or whatever--without worrying about time. Dr. Traverse is a special doctor. It's hard not to adore him.
