Dr. William Suggs, MD

I was part of his bariatric travel program and couldn't be happier. I love the attention they pay to possible complications and how to prevent them. The surgery went very well and I was back at work the following week. His office staff is friendly and informative and happy to answer any questions I had.

0/10 would not recommend. I had an “emergency” appendectomy with Suggs. The emergency room called him at 10am. He scheduled the surgery for 3pm but then pushed it back to 4pm. He was bland and had a dry attitude. I didn’t even see him after surgery until the next day. The next day is when he released me with no pain relievers after taking an organ from my body. My husband called later in the evening when the over the counter meds wouldn’t work and he said “oh the numbing medication must’ve worn off.” He then informed is no one was at the office and I would have to go to the emergency room to get any pain relief. Which cost us another 150 copay. The emergency room staff were shocked that I had a surgery preformed and was giving no pain relievers. Suggs said he and I quote “didn’t want you to drop your baby.” I would recommend having your procedure preformed by your friend who isn’t a doctor before you used Suggs.

He removed my wifes gallbladder and sent her home right after surgery. She had complications leaving the hospital. He sent her home with no meds and told her to sit in a bath if she couldn’t pee

Dr. Suggs is the best surgeon anyone could ever ask for. He is very kind and compassionate. He treats everyone like they are family. He performed a vertical gastric sleeve on me and it has changed my life. My husband Ian about to go through the same surgery with Dr. Suggs. He is absolutely the best!

ANY TIME I GET A CHANCE TO RECOMMEND HIM I DO, HIS SURGICAL INFECTION RATE IS NIL AND HIS AFTER CARE WITH HIS STAFF IS AWESOME I HAVE HAD 3 DIFFERENT SURGERIES BY HIM AND ALL THREE TIMES HAS BEEN GREAT. CATHY AND STAFF ARE FRIENDLY AND INFORMATIVE, THEY GO OVER AND ABOVE HELPING US OUT WITH ISSUES. DR SUGGS IS ALWAYS NEATLY DRESSED IRONED CLOTHES, VERY PROFESSIONAL AND WHEN SPEAKING TO US HE IS VERY PROFESSIONALLY AND SHAKING OUR HAND EACH TIME ASKING AFTER FAMILY ETC. GO SEE HIM!!!!

My husband is almost 8 months out from having the sleeve surgery. Our experience with Dr. Suggs and his staff 100 % satisfaction. They are there for you, they are available when you need them. There are no dumb questions, your not a number you have a name. You know everything before you have your surgery, pros and cons. We particularly like the fact that they use words we can understand . He is very nice and he explained the procedure for the surgery.i would recommend him to family and friends.

Dr. Suggs botched my simple gall bladder removal cutting a bile duct which led to me becoming septic. He refused to believe the excruciating pain i was in while in his office. After whuch i had to go to er was admitted into ICU. He had to do 2 additional surgeries to try & repair the mess he made almost killing me! Finally i went to bham my sphintor of odie duct was splinted and i began recovering. Dr. Suggs ruined my life! Go to a vet before you go to him!!!!

Dr. Suggs cares about his patients as much during follow up care as he does before the surgery. I have been under his care for 6 years and wouldn't consider any other doctor.

He is wonderful and he takes his time with you and listens to your problems and fears
