I was referred to Dr. Butcher for an infected cyst in my inner thigh. He kicked my husband out of the room (pre pandemic) then told me to pull my pants down. I had them around my ankles with no cover over my lap and then was told to lay down. He said he numbed me but either didn’t or went right in to lance before I was numb. He explained nothing to me about what was happening or what he was doing, taped a piece of gauze over the lance and told me to get dressed. I was screaming during the entire emergency procedure. While checking out I was still having a panic attack and blood was gushing from my leg. My husband had to carry me into the nearest bathroom once I left the office to better dress my wound. We left with an entire roll of toilet paper around my leg and I still bled through my pants on my way to my in laws. It’s two years later and my scar is still active and huge. He was fired from another local physicians group before he was hired at mine. He has since been fired again.

After finding a lump in my groin (I am a testicular cancer survivor & became alarmed when I found the lump) I was referred to Dr. Rockett by my primary care physician. An ultra sound was done, and he determined the lump was an infected lymph node that could be removed in his office. Once home, I bled out and had to go back to the office so he could repair the cut in my vein. I was diagnosed with a rare & aggressive soft tissue cancer. Dr. cut through the tumor, which half was left inside.

He's calm and funny. He explained everything to me and was very attentive. Most importantly, he cared for me during my recovery and all my follow-up visits- which is why I chose a community hospital even though a large teaching hospital was much closer.
