Saved my Mom’s life
Went in for a simple splint procedure there were complications. So had to call in specialist for Emergent Bypass surgery 10 hrs later Dr Polito saved my Mom’s life. Came out to speak to the family and explained as well as answered all of our questions & concerns. Next day Sat did his rounds saw my Mom himself as well as Sunday spoke with me both times as to how she was doing & what & why they were doing what they were doing. September 29, 2024

My husband needed replacement mitral valve surgery. Dr Polito put us at ease by explaining what he needed to do. Surgery went well. He is a wonderful surgeon and genuinely cares about his patients. Would definitely use him again if the need arises. Thank you Dr Polito

Horrible doctor
this doctor has the worst bedside manners and beyond condescending. All these reviews are beyond accurate and describe him well. He told my grandmother who had 80% carotid blockage she did not need to be admitted into the hosptial and that we had to plan his surgery after his vacation... he was beyond rude when we asked questions and would ignore the questions. He’s an arrogant doctor that I would NEVER recommend.. I feel bad for people that choose him and don’t check out his credibility. He also kept dropping her case when she was admitted and well and finally saw her 9 hours later! No compassion and no concern.

Horrible bedside manner, horrible condescending attitude, acts like he knows what he’s doing but he really has no clue. His treatments are outdated and he isn’t aware of more current methods of surgery. Should not handle anything lung related whatsoever. He botched my surgery, if you’re scheduled for surgery now ..cancel!! Find a more capable man. This guy is all ego with no skill. Had big problems communicating and showing genuine car for patients.

He performed a surgery on me that failed. I always have the impression when he is talking to me that he is being condescending. He has little education or experience with my condition yet he acts like an expert. Instead of putting his ego aside and genuinely being concerned and helping me, I left the office feeling as if he was treating me like I was an idiot. I am seeing a different doctor now.
