Dr. William Murphy, MD

Dr. William Murphy is one of the most unprofessional, irresponsible, disrespectful, and dismissive doctors I’ve ever had the displeasure of dealing with. Columbia County has a doctor shortage and yet somehow he still has availability for new patients- once someone sees Dr. Murphy as a patient it’s clear why he still has availability and that is because if they have any other options they choose to no longer be treated by him. The entire office follows his poor example and is disorganized and irresponsible with zero interest in patient care or general show of empathy. Beware of the lack of care you will receive.

Dr. Murphy has been a great help in transisitoning to a new doctor for our family.

I was hospitalized in 2019 after bit by something and had severe reaction, was in ICU for 3 days. It was a holiday weekend and Dr Murphy was away. Upon return he visited and changed up my care plan and I began to feel better. He does not believe in over dosing on antibiotics as the hospital had been doing. I felt that he really listened to me, at the hospital and at the in office visit after. I made complete recovery even though it was said I might never be the same again... I am completely sold on the care Dr Murphy has given to both myself and my husband.

Dr. Murphy is an excellent physician. He explains things very well and is never too busy to follow-up on nights and weekends. God bless you Billy Murphy.

If it was not for Dr. Murphy, colon cancer would have killed me 10 years ago. I was misdiagnosed three different times by three different people but Dr. Murphy diagnosed the problem immediately. I credit him for the life I'm still living today!

He has been conservative, but most often completely correct about diagnosis. However, there is often a wait for service.
