I went in to get an IUD. It was my second one so I didn't have too many questions, but I still kind of wanted to discuss it. There was a med student with the doctor who asked the questions initially, then the doctor was supposed to come in and talk to me after I told her everything. Instead, he came in, handed me the paper to sign, put in the IUD and walked out of the room. He barely said one word to me. I also was there bc I have been getting frequent BV and I wanted to discuss if there was anything I could do to prevent this. Instead, he swabbed me for BV and the med student came in and told me I didn't have it (I know I didn't have at this point). I have never in my life felt so ignored or unseen by a doctor, and I think that's especially upsetting for a gynecologist. I would not recommend this doctor to anyone.

After discovering a possible ovarian cyst via an ER visit, Dr. Meyer was the first doc I could get in to. Asked for an ultrasound multiple times as that is what was suggested by my discharge doc at the ER and my primary. He ignored the request, did a manual exam and then ushered me off to schedule surgery. I had to ask multiple questions about what might be going on for him to explain anything. Not comfortable at all with this doc and will be seeking out a second opinion. There is a reason some of the other docs are backed up for months and he is not.

My daughter and I both have been patients of Doctor Meyer for years. I have excellent private pay insurance and can see any doctor . I choose Dr. Meyer, because I find him not only to be a highly knowledgeable Professor of Medicine, but a kind compassionate man, who I feel totally comfortable touching me. He has even done a cervical biopsy on me with no anesthesia. I highly recommend him.

He was in my network and was the quickest doctor who could see me on short notice. He was friendly to me and my fiance. After he did my procedure I had a follow up appointment and he suggested a srart a new birth control, he didn't really suggest anything he left that up to me and I told him I wanted to stick with orals pills which he respected and he recommended a new med for me. You do haveto ask alot of questions about what your concerns are and what you don't understand.

Dr did laporotomy. Told spouse everthing looks good, saw no reason for abdominal pain. 2 weeks later for follow up scheduled her for total historectomy. Had no bed in his practicing hospital to place her after surgery. Their computers down could not process or share med info to give medications. Never use this doctor or this hospital again.

My normal practitioner was unavailable. I was ignored and violated by this man. He didn't address any of my questions before the examination and hardly spoke to me at all. He didn't look me in the eye. The examination that was hands down the most brutal I have endured. He inserted 3 fingers and pushed his body weight against my stomach. It hurt. I asked him to stop pressing so hard. Silence. I asked him to take his fingers out. Silence. I had to go to the ER because of pain. Never see this man.
