Just had Spem Cell surgery and i can't say enough good things about Dr. Merkel. In just 2 days I'm up and down the stairs like never before. I highly recommend.

From start to finish, I was treated by Dr. Merkel and his staff with nothing but kindness and understanding. Dr. Merkel recently performed a 7 hr. very complicated surgical repair on my upper abdominal area. This was a procedure that demanded the highest level of expertise and experience. I was fortunate enough to have found such an extremely skilled and knowledgeable Surgeon for whom I have nothing but the utmost respect for. Upon meeting Dr. Merkel at my initial appointment, I was immediately put at ease thanks to his gentle, easy going nature. Had sclerotherapy, he missed every vein. Told me to study the venous system. He gave me 2 different anatomy lessons at two different appointments. Refused a refund. Won't return my calls. Won't tell me what he injected into my legs. Says I need an ultrasound now. Wouldn't let me watch. Several vein clinics informed me that the procedure I need is simple and easy. No reason to not be successful. My case not complicated or unusual. Run of the mill. Dr. Merkel failed, every injection missed. Won't refund. Quack. Rude. Stubborn, arrogant, needs to retire according to several similar plastic clinics. Stay tuned for more.

I saw Dr. Merkel in June 2017 for Breast Augmentation. I chose him because he is very kind, honest, has 40 years experience, in office surgical room and conscious sedation. Dr. Merkel is so kind and has a great attention to detail. I love my implants and am so comfortable with them, they feel like they are my own and I never had the surgery. I would highly recommend Dr. Merkel if you are looking to get breast augmentation or any other cosmetic procedure done.
