Doctor Mellow, has treated me for the pas 7 years. I have never had a problem with scheduling, I have never had a problem with his bedside manor or any procedures I've had. Dr. Mellow helped find a cure for me immediately, something other Doctors failed at.

Seems patients either love or hate this guy..so perhaps the reviews slanted. After two days of calling several times to try to get an appt. for an initial visit and date for the recommended colonoscopy test...i give up. Ive called my primary care provider to find another provider even though ill have to wait for another insurance authorization. Lost trust in this Doctor before even a visit due to way he runs his office.

This doctor is rude, and has a horrible bedside manor. I saw him for stomach problems and was unable to eat. He advised me to go to a deserted island and live by myself ! On another visit he said" Well you are too young for cancer ". I thought oh really, children get cancer. He's great at insults !

Dr. Mello was highly recommended by my PCP. I had been to 2 other gastroenterologists but they couldn't help me . Dr. Mello diagnosed my swallowing problem in one visit. The endoscopy was painless. I apparently have an allergy in my esophagus and the medicine is working well. . Dr. Mello is an excellent doctor!

Dr. Melo is very much money driven doctor mostly focus on how much more he can make ? Very snob and does not have any bedside manner, I advice you to look for another GI doctor , there are many good GI doctors in Glendale and LA
