Dr. William McDonnell, MD

I visited Dr. McDonnell while in extreme pain and hoping for a true professional assessment of my symptoms. Instead, this doctor had no idea who I was (called me by the wrong name), had not reviewed my chart prior to my visit and failed to listen while I explained my symptoms and prior testing history related to my symptoms. He barely heard what I had to say about how I was feeling before suggesting I see a therapist, because 'It was all in my head' (his words). Newsflash, I am a behavioral specialist! This doctor should be assessed by a panel of his peers and see if he continues to be fit to practice. I did see another professional, who found that I had a serious issue pertaining to the same matter I saw Dr. McDonnell for. Dr. McDonnell's actions need to be addressed immediately, and I truly hope that no one else has had to suffer in the manner that I did, just because this doctor was too lazy to read a chart and too unconcerned to listen to the patient. Unacceptable!!!

I love my visits to Dr. McDonnell, he has a great sense of humor, and enthusiasm of subjects such as the mind body conundrum, the evolution of our species, the double helix, and crossword puzzles. The reason I dislike seeing him is that horrible prep goo they make you drink before exploring the GI tract. That stuff really is the worst. Oh, also, Dr. McDonnell is a super car enthusiast. Shhh! Don't tell his wife!
