Dr. Maynard is excellent clinically, and he cares about his patients. I have been a patient of his for approximately twenty years. He listens to everything you tell him, and he carefully formulates a plan of care for you. He is simply the best physician. I always feel safe while under his care.

Doctor Maynard has been my doctor for the last 17 years. I do not have the words to express my feelings about him except that he is the the best Doctor I have ever known. I have come to regard him as not just my doctor but my friend and confidant. His competence, integrity and sense of humor have endeared him to both my wife and myself, we have the utmost trust and confidence in him Sadly heis leaving Vanderbilt in June.

I see above that Dr Maynard has been practicing for twenty-seven years. If that is correct I must be one of his senior patients. My late wife worked at Vanderbilt School of Medicine and retired from there. We had moved here from Lebanon, TN, and I had never gotten around to finding what I still call a "GP" and she asked Dr Maynard if he would take my as a patient; later she asked him to accept our son also. He is a great physician and very up-to-date; I believe he must read every medical journal cover-to-cover the day it arrives as he can tell you the latest studies on any condition he encounters. I am glad he is a lot younger than I am as at my advanced age I have had many good doctors retire; I hope he will continue to be my primary care doctor throughout my remaining years. We all love him.
