Dr. William Knight, MD

Dr. Knight was recommended by my daughter. Dr. Cortes retired and I needed to find another doctor. I am very very pleased with Dr. Knight. He was thorough and answered all my questions..

Friendly staff.

He carefully looks at lab work results, listens to information I give, and is always receptive to my concerns and thoughts on what I feel I am best able to manage knowing my own body and abilities to follow through on changes in meds or lifestyle.

I've been going to Dr. Knight for several years. I am a 63 year old women with no real issues until this year. He sees me at least every 6 months to do blood work, since I have traits for various issues that he would like to catch early. He's a great listener. I'm able to reach him very easily through the SouthCoast portal and send him an email. All his staff is great too!

Dr. Knight is compassionate, caring, knowledgeable, patient, kind and takes time to fully understand your problem and works to find a solution. He tries to address all your concerns. His staff, Nurse Jackie and Nurse Catina are always so polite, helpful and very caring. They take their time with you. I always expect to have a wait but it's very worth it.

He carefully explained test results and answered all questions in a caring manner.

Dr. Knight Is thorough, efficient, professional, and truly seems to have patience. Best interest at heart. He reviews the record to make sure he doesn’t miss things. In the past, he’s actually caught things that specialist have missed. Highly recommend him.

what stood out at my appt was the bold face lie from x-ray dept. However Dr. Knight is very professional and current on how he treats patients. And nurse Jackie is the best! She really cares about Dr. Knight’s patients.

Wanted to have an initial meet and greet….got a very positive vibe from the Dr and I feel confident about moving forward with him.

I checked in and paid my deductible the weekend prior to my Monday afternoon visit. I arrived at 3:00 for my 3:30 appointment, and was thanked for checking in online. I was still sitting in the waiting room at 4:05, when I told the front desk I was canceling my appointment. I was told Dr Knight was running behind. I don't know if this was his fault or South Coast's for overbooking, but it is unacceptable. Considering how difficult it is to get an appointment in the first place, I should be compensated for my wasted time, money, gas, and patience. I will be finding another doctor at a different practice.
