Best kidney doctor
I've been seeing Dr. King for the 20 years I've lived in Southern Nevada. I had a kidney transplant 35 years ago and have lived in numerous cities and he has been the most caring, reassuring and encouraging nephrologist I've ever had. Having a successful transplant this long has it's own set of problems and sometimes I feel like a guinea pig with each new issue that comes up. I've always been able to rely on his expertise and guidance and without his support I would probably not be here today. He's the best.

Dr King was not only very attentive , and totally professional, but also took his time listening to my concerns (and my husband's) who kept interrupting me. :)

Great Doctor. Detected a small amount of blood in my urine with a urinalysis test and recommended I see a urologist. Caught early stage bladder cancer which was removed. No problems getting appointments. Medication prescriptions are refilled easily. Never a long wait to see the Doctor. He is very knowledgeable and easy to communicate with.

My father is 94 and has kidney disease. I accompanied him to see Dr. King because I am his medical POA and trustee. Dr. King did not acknowledge or even introduce himself to me. An ultrasound was scheduled but they could not get a follow-up appt. for another 6 weeks. Instead of calling me to arrange labs they called my father and when I called the asst., she said it was my responsibility to get it done. Very rude and insensitive staff! I will be changing his doctor.

The entire patient experience matters. Scheduling an appointment is a nightmare. Even though you are asked to come back in six months, the patient may only schedule an appointment by calling back in four months. they will not remind you. Dr. King is only available in the mid-morning, and he claims to have no control over his schedule. Difficult for patients who work during the day. Intake staff treat you like a child, lobby is hot and receptionist is rude.
