Terrible office
Had to request to see Dr Honeycutt after continuously being scheduled with PA for my 84 yo Father. The care factor in this office is not good. I do not recommend.

I am a new patient after an ER visit due to a new extreme change in migraines. The NP went over everything and despite having my CT Scan on disc seemed to only scan the written report. She didn’t dive into my concerns that arose in the past 2 wks, only went over my history questionnaire and asked some key questions (has my weight been stable?Yes I am obese but it has been the same for over 2 yrs). She steps out into the hall and relays most of what she reviewed with me to the MD. He comes in and spends 10 minutes or so railing off about the physiology of migraines and listed treatment options that he admitted I didn’t even qualify for, then concluded I needed to lose weight and really can just manage my issues with lifestyle changes. I’m aware weight can effect things but I can’t reconcile how he correlated me being overweight and having the same weight for 2.5 years with a sudden and concerning change in symptoms. He didn’t order further testing or even set a follow up.

Horrible doctor and super negligent. Put my family member in a feeding tube due to his lack of knowledge and didn't even care. He needs his license revoked.

I was referred to this office to see Dr. Issa, but was scheduled to see the PA. I saw the PA for over a year and all of a sudden, three months ago, Dr. Honeycutt appeared. We had never met. He walked in, barely acknowledged me, sat down at the computer and began checking off boxes. Our appointment lasted approximately 10-15 minutes and he walked out. I am a stroke survivor and suffer from severe migraines. When I tried to change doctors and see Dr. Issa, I was told that Dr. Honeycutt would not release me (he doesn't even know who I am), and Dr. Issa would not take me on. If you need a neurologist, steer clear of this practice. They have no interest in patient care.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Terrible bedside manner for both the neurologist and PA. My Mom was diagnosed with very early stages of Alzheimer’s disease and they both completely ignored her and talked to my father. They told him to get her driver’s license taken away and register with silver alert, all while she was in the room being ignored. All of this came from the PA. Once the doctor finally came in, he stood at the door, never even entered, and essentially did nothing. My Mom cried for 2 days straight. These individuals should not be working with patient’s with memory deficits. Do not go to this doctor’s office.

Don’t waste your time they are rude and Do not care about their patients... It all starts with the front office and never saw the doctor but he seems to micromanage who he sees and who he doesn’t. You are warned this place is a cluster and needs some serious training.

I feel as if this doctor was a mistake and he was not listening to me. I have memory issues and he talked so fast I have no idea what he said. He gave me a memory test with 3 basic words. I thought he was kidding. Hoping I can change doctors. Also they charge for FMLA; STD and LDT forms. This can be costly. Had I known that ahead of time I never would have gone. I hired Dr. Honeycutt and he is there to treat me. Not vice versus. He works for me. Never so disappointed in a doctor.

I saw Dr. Honeycutt for several years but have not had to for the last 3 years; he was wonderful..took his tme wth you..very knowledgable; the last time I saw him, it had been a year and I hadhad no problems so it was his suggestion to not automatically set up an appt..to just make one when I needed to see him...I liked that. I will call him when I feel the necessity o seeing a neurologist.

I find Dr. Honeycutt to be a fantastic neurologist. He's great at giving the Botox injections and his bedside manner is often filled with a little bit of humor which I greatly appreciate. I highly recommend him.

Today I took my Mother for a follow up appointment from her Hospital stay and following outpatient tests. I am so glad we decided to see Dr. Honeycutt. He is professional yet personable. He asks plenty of questions and listens intently. When he spoke with us regarding his medical opinion on Mom’s diagnosis, he was kind and confident based on all of the testing he reviewed combined with the assessment he did during our visit. I will refer family and friends to him without hesitation.

My husband went to Dr. Honeycutt today for a second opinion regarding his Parkinson's. I read all of the negative reviews and we were both prepared NOT to like this physician. Our visit was far from negative. Dr. Honeycutt was professional, polite, explained everything in detail, and did not rush us. He answered all of our questions. The visit was extremely positive. I am not sure why folks would be so negative about this physician. I would highly recommend this office and his staff.

Dr. Honeycutt was very informative about my diagnosis and spoke through all areas of concern. I was a bit concerned after reading the negative reviews, but i saw him anyway and was glad I did. He was friendly and thorough and I was very pleased. He was a little rushed as most doctors are, but all in all I was happy and will return for a follow up.

He is condescending and does not listen to his patients. Have seen him twice in 2 years of appointments as his NP has made all the decisions about my health. I have wasted 2 years of my life with this group who staff are all disorganized and never return calls. Not anymore. I'm moving on to bigger and Better things.

Dr. Honeycutt is very rude and inconsiderate of your feelings. On my first visit, he just stared in his lap top while typing, when he made eye contact it was for a brief second. He kept asking the same questions. He had me get several tests done, however would never make an appointment to discuss any test results and why he felt I should get a different test. His assistance is just as rude. They don't write the truth on there medical notes. They refused to fill out paper work for my job.

Frustrated with the lack of returned phone calls. When you call to leave a message about changing an appointment, you get someone who says a name that is not understandable at all, and a beep for leaving a message. I have left a total of 5 messages in 2 days, and no one has returned my phone calls. I am looking for someone else.

Dr Honeycutt has very poor consultation and listening skills. If you have a medical problem that is not his specialty, he is demeaning and shows no interest or concern. His staff did not return my phone calls. They were not able to answer questions as to why they did not send my employer a letter stating that i was not able to return to work and as a result of thier negligence I lost my job. I assumed that after making three phone calls they would send the letter. I was fired because of them.
