Never had Dr like him
I walked into the waiting room that was packed. I was in and out in 35 minutes other places I would be there for hours. Doesn't show x-rays doesn't explain well because he needs the cash cow's moving

This is my reply to the review from Jul 31, 2020
I had 4 visits with Dr. Healy and was not given a gown either. I asked the nurse if I needed to wear one at each visit and she said I didn't. It was a bit perplexing as I couldn't understand how the doctor would examine my knee with my pants on. All he did was had me lay on my back on the exam table and he took by left foot, moved it in 3 directions and asked me where my knee hurt! Ouch! I found it interesting that on my portal he claimed I had no bruises, etc. on my knee so I've wondered if he has x-ray vision! I also have no recollection of any sort of ruler used to take measurements either, yet there are measurements on my chart as well! There is a lot more that I have concerns about and have placed a complaint with Northwell regarding the subpar care I believe I was given. I've told them that there should be zero tolerance for this sort of behavior! I will update my reviews when I get feedback from the person investigating the matter.

Mine is not a glowing review
I met with Dr. Healy for the first time and after reading previous glowing reviews I believe I saw his alter ego Dr. Healy was pre-occupied, in a rush or wasn’t interested in my issue. I have a follow up appointment with him that at this point I’m not sure I will be keeping. X-rays were taken and reviewed but the pain that I am experiencing was never addressed. Gave me a prescription for knee braces and he’ll see me in two weeks. I’m not sure what I accomplished during our 5 minute visit.

friendly and efficient
Great job. Arrived a few minutes early for my appt. and I was taken in to the examination room within a few minutes. Didn't have to wait long for the doctor to do the exam. I needed an x-ray which was also done right away. Talked with Dr. Healy again and reviewed the x ray results and discussed next steps. Great service and not a lot of wait time like some offices.

I had a very unsatisfactory appointment with Dr. Healy. When I called to schedule the appointment my complaints were stated and it was known what I was seeking help for. On my arrival I was put in an examination room - no examination gown because there was to be no examination. The doctor lifted up the back of my shirt and took a look at my scapula and said this was not his field. I needed to see a spine specialist. This took less than 2 minutes - he could not leave the examining room fast enough. I could have been told this prior to my visit but then I could not be charged the $45. co-pay. Very unprofessional.

I have been seeing Dr. Healy 3 yrs for knee injections as I needed to keep working. Tara and the staff are so nice, really wonderful. I had my total knee replacement 5 days ago and the pain is quite challenging-but nobody told me it would be painless. Funny thing is the swelling is already down to nothing, I have no bleeding or infection issues (what Dr Healy is best-known for) and my bruising is so minimal one would never guess I'm only 5 days post-op. That is amazing considering the nature of total knee replacement. I am really impressed right now with my home health care team, very impressed and grateful for everyone at Huntington Hospital too-awesome staff on 2 North.... Dr Healy, well he just wants me to walk again w/o intense pain - and he knows he can achieve that. I can't think of a negative thing to say so I'll close here with "Thank you so much, I am entirely grateful for everyone's support and the skill of my surgeon Dr Healy". Be safe and healthy everyone!

Its all about $$$$, his office is a mill..K-ching! his office staff is even worse as they do NOT care about your health and well being its all about $$$$$ and how much they can suck out of your insurance company. He is a GREEDY cold hearted businessman first! His office manager Lori is even worse! She will LIE through her teeth and is low class lying scum! A veterinarian has more compassion for his patients than "DR HEALY" as he left me in pain for months! STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!!!

Dr Healy lll and his staff if I said were excellent would be an understatement at the time of writing this I have had the surgery one week ago and I’m already taking steps without a cane! I know all people heal differently but if Dr Healy wasn’t great I would not be able to be at this point already he didn’t rush the consultation was very detailed in exsplaining the how’s,why’s,and everything in between from preparing for surgery to the compilation of my therapy i give him 10 stars!!!
