Dr. William Friedel, DDS

Dr. Freidel was courteous on the day of my oral surgery. (My family and I have been to his office several times.) After having an extraction, this time, I experienced a lot of pain and swelling; it was the third after the oral surgery. No one called the following day as Dr. Courtney had to see how I was doing, but that is not the main issue. I called and asked to speak with Dr. Freidel, but his front desk person, Denise, refused to give Dr. Freidel my message for a return call. She was arrogant. This office needs courteous staff who are an asset to the practice and treat patients respectfully. Denise, you are not the doctor, and if I asked for a return call, that is what I expected.

Had a consult with Dr. Friedel & then came back for an extraction & bone graft. I plan to eventually have him do the implant as well. I give him & his staff the highest rating possible. I had zero pain both during & after the procedure! Not even one Motrin has been needed. He is experienced & trustworthy. He takes time to answer all questions. I never felt rushed or pressured as I was trying to decide on treatment. I highly recommend.

Poor follow up in billing insurance; as a result I had to pay full price, out of pocket for an image and evaluation that fell outside the dates allowed by my insurance. No one ever checked or said anything. Office staff sent the bill to collections despite the fact that image was not even necessary, as we ended up going to a different doctor who cared more about explaining costs associated with treatment. I Will definitely not recommend.
