Dr. William Duke, MD

If I ever have to go to the Medical Center, in Dublin, GA, again and have to see Dr. Duke, I will leave. He is the most unprofessional Doctor I have ever seen in my life. My primary care doctor is Dr. Samson, and they are as different as night and day. I was in the office for a routine visit and this man spent a majority of my visit telling me about the broken Criminal Justice system and how he has the cure for prison system. He told me that he has said to just put them in a cell with no window, barely big enough room for them to stand up in and feed them under the door. Then he went on to say that 'we', I'm assuming he is talking about America, should ship 'our' convicts to El Salvador like 'he' just sent those other Venezuelans. I don't think your political opinion should be discussed in the setting of a Dr's office. I love seeing Dr. Samson when I have to go to the Medical Center, but I will never see this so-called Doctor again. Why they keep him around is beyond me.

Saw Dr. Duke again today in urgent care. If I had known I'd be seeing him I would have left. I want in for shortness of breathe, headache, fatigue, cough. I've a negative Covid 19 test. I told Dr. Duke I'd been staying at home because I have autoimmune issues. He then spent ten min lecturing me on how Covid 19 has been blown all out of proportion by the media and that the New York Times has helped create a media frenzy about the virus. He told me the virus wasn't as serious as it's being portrayed. All the time he was lecturing me I noticed he never took his mask off though. This is the same doctor who back in August dismissed my health concerns and within 6 months I had two tests come back positive for lupus from my regular doctor. Dr. Duke is the most unprofessional, condescending doctor I've ever run into, not to mention that as a diagnostic doctor he's inept.

He is terrible. Dismissive, condescending, disdainful, and generally not good at being a doctor...

I tell all of my family and friends to avoid going to Dr. Duke at ALL COSTS. He has misdiagnosed me and family members on multiple occasions. He has insinuated to me before that he thought I might have an STD when I told him I had never had sex at all at the time. He has told me that bones were not fractured that were. He has told a family member that they did not have a major infection when they did, and it got MUCH worse. He will not listen to you or help you.
