I was thoroughly impressed with Dr. Doran and his office staff. They set you up completely for success.

Dr. Doran was great. He explained everything without being condescending. I was apprehensive about the hip replacement; I didn't believe it would be as easy or effective as I was being told. It turned out it was easier and more effective than I could have hoped. I was using only a cane within a week of surgery and walking with no aids within 3 weeks. And I am in my 60s and not that healthy to begin with. I am so pleased. I wish I'd had the surgery a year earlier. All of Dr. Doran's nurses and assistants were friendly and helpful too.

Very little pain, excellent recovery from the procedure. New hip works great. Was easily back to work in 6 weeks. Treated very well. Highly recommend.

My first visit to the office was over a hour wait after I got in the room. Then he was a little snippy with me during his questions to me. So not personable. I didn’t learn and came back for the follow up. We scheduled the hand surgery. I got to the hospital at my appointment time and he was not there. I was asked to come back 3 hrs later and he still didn’t not show for hours later. No respect for my time but offices will cancel patient appointments after 15min and want to be paid their full fee. I will go for my follow up appt but finding another doctor for my other hand. It makes me wonder why all the excellent reviews and I didn’t receive the same treatment and courtesy.

I debated this surgery way too long. At 74 would it be worth it both economically and emotionally? My last words to Dr Doran was it too late to change my mind? He laughed, Less than 2 months out of surgery the answer is YES! My pain is declining everyday as my movement increases. Dr Doran's support staff are upbeat and keep you going. From the day of surgery where you get up to walk to what will be a successful ending in 18 months, as we work together. Tidal Health Mears is the best. Dr. Doran and his office staff especially Kim and Courtney; his hospital staff starting with Mary Beth and all the nurses and associates. PT with Wayne, Brenda, James and Kiley and others. So fortunate to have found Dr. Doran and I recommend him HIGHLY!! Thank you all!

I was really nervous, but Dr Doran came and talked to me before surgery. I went and had it done, came out great. The hospital nurses were great. I went home and I was up and walking without a walker or cane within a week. Everything went great. He is a great doctor, wish I'd had listened and had it done 2 years ago. I really can't thank Dr Doran enough. Thank you so much.

He is such a fantastic doctor! He explains everything. Answers questions clearly. He puts you at ease and is so knowledgeable. It is a pleasure to be his patient. I would recommend him highly.

I went in with a torn meniscus. Dr. Doran went over my MRI in great detail - thoroughly explaining my injury. He did not recommend surgery at this time - which I was in total agreement with. Some doctors are too quick to put you under the knife. He listened to my concerns and was very caring. I was trying to avoid the use of steroids - if at all possible, and he agreed. I was extremely impressed with his knowledge and great bedside manner. i would highly recommend him to my friends and family.

Knowledgeable and personable! Dr. Doran eased our family’s apprehensions we had facing our 89 year old Pop’s total hip replacement. We had complete faith and Dr. Doran proved himself to be even better than we anticipated. Highly recommended by our family!

Dr Doran is very friendly & professional with a lot of knowledge. He'll explain everything to you in clear terms. He did my partial knee replacement & I had no pain afterwards, I was back to normal after a week and 1/2. Less time than when I had the other knee done before by another Dr.

All I can say is Dr. Doran is the best doctor, I have ever had he is gifted, I had a knee replacement and hip, before I had the surgery, I had the worse pain you can imagine, I thought this is how it's going to be from now on, then I went to Doc's in and they said go see Dr. Doran in Seaford and I did and now I'm pain free .I didn't even need pain meds after surgery. Now I have the best doctor ever, I would never go to another doctor because I have the best there is.

I had a left knee total replacement in September and I am doing really well. He is an excellent surgeon!

Dr. William Doran is one of the best. A year ago I had my right knee replaced with wonderful results. This year I had the second one done and so far am healing even better than the first time. I have much respect for Dr. William Doran and his entire office staff. I highly recommend his services.

I had my right knee replaced by Dr, Doran utilizing the robotic procedure. I was in severe pain before surgery and know I am on the way to a painless knee and a more active life.

I had a hip replacement 12 days ago. I have diabetes and overweight and Dr. Doran worked with me to get both under control before surgery. He did it for my benefit because he cared. I was in the hospital only 1 day. I had joint pain for 5 to 6 years. The joint pain was gone immediately. I have swelling and stiffness which is normal. I had a bad limp before surgery and now I have none. I walked on the seventh day without a walker or cane. I had a cane in my hand for safety reasons and still do. I had my left hip replaced in 2013 by another doctor and done very well but this was so much better from the front instead of from the side. I have witnessed his dedication and caring for his patients while I was in the hospital. HE puts in many hours. If you need a hip replacement, do your self a favor and choose the best. In my opinion he is the best. Dr. Doran is my doctor but I also consider him my friend. Thanks Dr. Doran.

I had the anterior hip replacement on May 9, 2018. A lot of questions entered my mind, and just reading about it was scary. After Dr. Doran went over the procedure and explained exactly what was to take place, I had that good feeling that I had picked the perfect Doctor. Right decision, The surgery, treatment, aftercare and recovery went great. Yearly check up was great, and it's so good to be back to my normal routine without any restrictions. I am as good as new. Dr. Doran replaced my knee in October and within 10 days I walked 1/2 mile; today I walked two miles on the Appalachian Trail. Thank you Dr. Doran for helping me be active again.

Dr. Doran has been a blessing to me. He has done both of my knee replacements. He is very skillful and gifted at what he does. Both of my knees were to the point I could hardly walk! I am a grand daughter of Priscilla Austin who is one of Dr Dorans patients, she just had knee replacement surgery and after 3 weeks is exceeding expectations for recovery! He did an excellent job with minimum pain! Highly recommend Dr. Doran.
