Dr. William Cohen, MD

one of the worst psychiatrists i've ever had and that's saying a lot. i was at medstar in 2017, got sexually harassed by 3 patients and i was sobbing for them to move me. he kept me there for 2 more weeks and said i should've reported it to the nurses. in one visit, he diagnosed me with BPD and forced me out of the closet to my mother after i said i'd attempted suicide because i knew my parents wouldn't accept me (they didn't). this man just added to my diagnoses and medications without any regard for me as a person. i can't believe he still practices medicine. arguably he wrecked my life. i wanted to throw up when i saw he specialized in adolescent and child psychiatry. i wonder if he still does his hair like freud. an ego maniac if i ever met one. the government needs to oversee what happens in psych wards because quacks like these should lose their license.

Poor follow up, poor diagnostics. My daughter's condition deteriorated significantly under the care of Dr. Cohen, which he seemed oblivious to. Sought a second opinion and have thankfully seen a dramatic turnaround. Recommend avoiding this doctor.
