Dr. Choi Best Neurosurgeon, ever, in all respects!
I am 84 years old and have had over 20 surgeries, from brain to my toes. Dr. Choi stands far and above any surgeon I've been a patient of. In July of 2024, Dr. Choi repaired two former surgeries by repairing my L2-5. In November, 2024, he operated on L7-T1, so I could regain use of left arm and hands. Both surgeries were great successes. I feel like a young man again. I had the surgeries performed in order to regain some strength in order to take care of my severely handicapped wife. She is going to see Dr. Choi soon. They will discuss a very serious and complicated surgery. I have so much faith and confidence in my dear neurosurgeon and would put my life in his skilled hands any time. Dr. Choi is very skilled, careful, caring and has a wonderful bedside manner. He is also a very dear and humble servant. Thanks, my friend and surgeon.Ray Willis, Elizabeth, CO. Feb. 2025

Felt like we were in very capable hands
My husband had surgery, and Dr. Choi kept me informed the entire time. Not only did the surgery go better than expected, but I felt comfortable with the entire procedure.

I have had back issues for several years, but when I started to lose feeling in my "saddle area" and right leg, Dr. Choi was able to do surgery within three days of my office visit. While it has only been three weeks since my surgery, I am virtually pain free and starting to regain feeling. Dr. Choi and his staff are amazing - M. A. Diana and P. A. Marchon are wonderful too, and I felt that my concerns were heard and my care could not have been better.

I am a med student who is lucky enough to observe firsthand what a brilliant and caring surgeon Dr. Choi is. He is highly respected in the medical community and I hear his praises everywhere I go. He takes personal responsibility for every one of his patients, and will do everything in his ability to help in any way that he can.

His lumbar decompression surgery 16 months ago turned my moderate lumbar back pain into constant severe pain. He missed removing an obvious bone spur pressing against my L4 nerve root. His surgery damaged critical back tissues. My life is destroyed. Choosing him is the worst decision I've ever made in my life. Avoid him like the plague. My pain is worse than ever. He denied worsening the pain, then refused to fix it. AVOID!!!

Terrific neurosurgeon. He’s fused my neck and back. Very professional, knowledgeable, and an excellent surgeon. So many people in the medical field say they wouldn’t go to anyone else. I agree.

Dr. Choi may be a superb surgeon, but the post-surgery experience was awful. No call to the family after the surgery, which is absolutely standard procedure. No one was able to locate Dr. Choi for the discharge. Meanwhile, my wife was waiting for three hours in the car unable to reach anyone who could tell her the outcome of the surgery. This is pretty basic stuff, and somehow the staff missed it and created a lot of unnecessary trauma.

Extremely pleased, terrific doctor. He spent much time reviewing and explaining my symptoms. He is very careful and conservative. I have also observed many other patients who had surgery by Dr. Choi who have had excellent outcomes.

Not good. Ordered MRI then I expected him to discuss the findings with me at the second appt. The office called the day of the appt. and canceled it saying the Dr. saw nothing that could be done. His receptionist told me that he was very busy and was seeing 40 patients that day. How can anyone do justice to any patient without spending time with them. I will seek care elsewhere.

Worst doctor with incompetent office staff. Dr Choi is arrogant, hurried and detached. His staff are equally awful. It's very difficult to leave a message or receive a followup phone call. I had a 3 month relationship with Dr Choi and his staff and it was a miserable experience. I had my cervical surgery performed elsewhere with 100% satisfaction and 100% success. Overall, my experience with Dr Choi was substandard, unprofessional and inept. I would advise you to seek treatment elsewhere.

Dr. Choi is a great surgeon! After a failed surgery elsewhere, I had numerous issues and extreme pain. Dr. Choi has done four cervical surgeries (posterior and anterior)for me along with C 4-5-6 fusion to correct my unfortunate mishap. I will only let Dr. Choi perform surgery on my spine. He is very caring and tells you the truth about your prognosis. Whenever I hear of someone needing spinal surgery, I always recommend his expertise. Brenda Felthager - Denver, CO

Dr. Choi is amazing! After nearly 4 years of excruciating pain and mistreatment from Kaiser, he correctly diagnosed my problem, got me into surgery at Centura in Castle Rock in a few short weeks, and when I woke up I was pain free and able to walk normally. Six weeks later I am only feeling better with every day. He is my hero. The staff is very kind and efficient, the supporting doctors for my surgery were great, I cannot believe how seamless and easy this was.

From my first consultation with Dr. Choi, I knew that I couldn’t have chosen a better neurosurgeon. He was patient and thorough in explaining what to expect from surgery to discharge from the hospital. His office staff are all helpful, friendly, and efficient. My surgery was all that I could have hoped for, with immediate relief from pain. Recovery has been uneventful and complete. I have told many and will continue to tell friends that Dr. Choi at Precision Spine is the best choice.
