Dr. BLOCH was a bit late but those things happen and I understand that. As usual, he’s very efficient and friendly and addressed all my concerns.

He’s always been a very knowledgeable Doctor, but in addition throws in a little common sense that many doctors lack. Truly an excellent doctor. I am lucky to have him agree to me being his patient. His staff reflect that same knowledge and caring he does.

Professional, quick and to the point consultation

I was impressed by Dr. Bloch’s experience and wisdom. But he also did not rush me in and out of the door. He is very knowledgeable but also personable.

Doctor Block is so knowledgeable and so helpful and so understanding. Today he explained that one of the routine bladder control medication’s that I was taking as the ability to transfer into my brain. That now relates to me because I have been having some short-term memory issues that are new to me.. He recommended an alternative medication that, after thinking about it, I am going to call and ask for a prescription from him and switch. I’m really excited about trying this. he is a very good, experienced urologist. I would highly recommend him to anyone.

Never told me about estradiol for UTIs. Didn’t look at my meds for possible complications. Didn’t want to do scan. Finally got one and I had a mass. And they emailed to tell me but didn’t call for days. I had to call them. And today I got a survey about my prostrate! I’m a woman!!’

I had to reschedule an appointment with my regular urologist, and Dr. Bloch agreed to see me. I found his bedside manner to be excellent. He asked a lot of pertinent questions. He listed symptoms and asked if I had any. He had me use the restroom, then had a nurse do an ultrasound of my bladder, just to be sure I was completely evacuating. Then ordered an immediate PSA test, as my levels had tripled in my last test from the one prior. Stated that they would call me with the results as soon as they were in. I really appreciated how kind, knowledgeable, and thorough he was. I would recommend Dr. Bloch to anyone needing a urologist.

Absolutely terrible. Ran over an hour late, and then rushed through the appointment and was not helpful or responsive to issues. Suggested the problem was just diabetes when I see a primary physician regularly and do not have diabetes. Just a complete waste of time.

I have used Dr. Bloch for over 2 years. With BPH, he prescribed Flomax and Proscar. Then I started having urinary frequency. I did my own research and recommended UroLift and PVP green light procedure to control the urgency. Dr. Bloch then put me on Oxybutynin and that has controlled my frequency. There are other Urologists at COUG if you need them.

His credentials are obvious and I would recommend him but would also recomend for your own comfort you prepare written questions before your meetings with him and also take notes of what he says is the intended treatments as he dose not keep his own notes but has a person in the room with you who has a lap top and apparently takes notes as he hears them.. At the next session be sure to have your notes with you as it may surprise you to find his treatment intent may not be as voiced last time. He is a very busy professional.
