Awful
While his "concierge" service is supposed to offer more time and better client service, it does the opposite. He cancels appointments frequently, glosses over issues and ignores those who don't agree with him and treats conditions he is not knowledgeable of and misdiagnoses as a result..stay away!

I have been working with Dr. Barnard for over a year now. He truly understands me as a person first and a patient second. His ability to let me be part of the process of treatment allows me to not only feel empowered, but safe and valued as an individual. I have never had such a powerfully positive experience dealing with my mental health issues. I highly recommend him to anyone seeking a psychiatrist who really knows how to listen to and understand your problems and needs. He goes above and beyond to keep in touch and let you know he is there for you.

Dr. Barnard focuses on the patient experience in his care, and his concierge model works really well for me. I feel confident that I have a provider who is responsive, accommodating, and who does this because he really cares about people. He is also the only person to correctly diagnose me and refer me to the type of therapy that I need. I would recommend him to anyone who needs a psychiatrist.

I'm so lucky to have found him. He pays attention to my needs, trusts me to know what to do with my body (he works WITH ME, doesn't tell me what to do), and I know he cares about my health. His practice really shows he does this because he cares about people, not because it's a job. I recommend him completely.

A kind and thoughtful doctor who spent extra time with me to hear my story and treat me as a whole person, rather than just treating depression or anxiety. I was hesitant to see a male physician, but he made me feel so comfortable. It is wonderful to know that I can trust him with my care.

considerably poor experience. He really had zero bedside manner. He didnt share a lot about himself and it didnt feel like he cared if we connected. He seemed really in a rush. He didnt ask many questions that were really relevant to me. All he seemed to be up for was medicating me and not connecting or anything like that. He didnt seem happy with what he was doing.

An awkward visit with a doctor who seemed more concerned with how he looked than who i was as a patient. Very abrupt, almost disrespectful disposition. I didnt have any connection with him and felt that he wasnt someone i could trust with dispensing medication. I wont return to him.
