Dr. William Atlas, MD

Dr. Atlas is the cream of the crop internal medicine physician. He has been my physician for 21 years and I have followed him from his larger practice to his individual concierge medicine practice. Dr. Atlas is a brilliant, caring, patient focused physician who is well versed in all types of medical care. Dr. Atlas and his staff listen intently, coordinate with specialists and assist patients to make sure they are living their very best life. Dr. Atlas really makes you feel that he is part of your team and you know that he and his staff are always there to answer questions and provide answers during health emergencies and illnesses.

When you want the best, look no further. Simply great service and caring doctor and staff.

Previous reviewer is correct--thanks to his review, I contacted Dr. Atlas' office before selecting him as my PCP for new insurance and was also informed that he does NOT accept insurance. He is solely a concierge Dr.

BEWARE: Could not schedule a new patient appointment - his office claimed he is a "concierge doctor," he will not bill insurance, and you have to pay him an annual retainer fee. I have no idea why he is listed in my insurance network but I already complained to the insurance company to have him removed. Excuse me for not being exclusive enough and thanks for nothing.

Dr Atlas and his staff are fabulous! I always feel like I am their only patient and there is no such thing as a stupid question. I never feel rushed. I have been a patient since I moved to San Antonio 15 yrs ago and don't plan on going anywhere else. I would highly recommend Dr Atlas!

My wife and I have followed Dr. Atlas from place to place for to many years to count. He is the best Dr. in San Antonio as far as we are concerned. He is very detailed in his workups and also kind and considerate. He is honest and tells it like it is. He gives you the opportunity to express yourself and gives guidance when required. He is also a very nice person who cares deeply about his patients.
