I’ve been a patient of Dr Adams for a couple of years. I recently had a biopsy and then lumpectomy and can’t say enough about the care I received from Dr Adams and his wonderful staff. Everything moved along quickly and it took just over 3 weeks from my initial visit with Dr Adams, for testing, biopsy, surgery and results! Dr Adams spent time explaining everything to me before surgery and then after surgery he explained the report, which was Greek to me, so that I could understand it! I am so glad that 2 of my doctors referred me to Dr Adams and I'll continue to refer family and friends to him.

I saw Dr. Adams for breast cancer surgery about a month ago and had a very positive experience. He made sure I was well informed about my options and frequently checked in on my well being throughout the process, including calling me in the weeks following the procedure to ask how I was healing. Dr. Adams is clearly dedicated to making sure his patients get the best care possible and helping them feel at ease.

Dr Adams is a very intelligent dr with many years of knowledge behind him. However his bedside manner is fake. He tries to call you by your first name in a nickname and make small talk . He ask how your family is or life but its not unique or genuine. His small talk is beyond phony. What is the worst is he has new staff. The front desk woman with short blonde hair I believe her name is mary is very uncompassiolnate and makes you feel very uncomfortable. Shw huffs and puffs if you forget a film or report . She must be related to him because she also shows no genuine compassion. The only person in the office with true compassion for the patients in a tall woman with dark hair .I believe her name is June or Joanne. She is so comforting. I watched her hug 2 patients one of them was a woman who came in crying due to a diagnosis she just recieved. This young lady brought her inside behind the door and talked with her and calmed her down. The woman left happy and it was due to thei staff

I have been to Dr. Adams 2 times over the last three years. I loved him. He is very knowledgeable and a nice person. However, My mom has to have a benign tumor removed. I recommended Dr. Adams and he biopsied her breast. Thank God, he called to say the tumor was benign last Friday, but it needed to be removed. The very next day my Mom went for her pre-surgical testing. We have both called the office to have the surgery scheduled and to find what kind of tumor she has, exactly. 2 days have passed with no return phone call. Considering the type of Doctor's office this is, with a lot of worry and anxiety for both the patient and the family, that is totally unacceptable.

I never write reviews or experiences but this situation I could not help myself. I was in the office for a follow up two weeks ago and what I witnessed was jaw dropping. The Dr has a new receptionist who is the sweetest, most diligent caring young woman. She was verbally attacked by several patients in the office who said they had visits. The young woman tried her hardest to make everyone happy. Dr Adams comes out and I could not see her behind the door but I could hear her hysterically crying. Dr adams told her to go pull herself together in the bathroom and come back. I felt so bad for this young woman. I am shocked at Dr adams. he had no compassion for this young woman. If anyone reads this who still see him please when you go in you treat the young woman at the desk Jillian with respect. Dr adams is extremely lucky to have this young woman.my heart wet out to her that day. I gave her a hug and told her she was doing a great job.

Dr Adams is an ok surgeon but weeks go by without any phone call with biopsy or test results. Given the anxiety level associated with so many of these procedures I can not recommend this doctor.

I've had the pleasure of being one of his patients since my first biopsy when I was in my mid thirties and most recently had a double mastectomy at the age of 45. He is probably one of the most intelligent, compassionate and skilled surgeons out there. If you have to get bad news like cancer, he is the one to receive it from. He spent countless hours, on the phone as well as in person, educating me and discussing my options with me, ensuring that my final decision was one I was comfortable with.

Very strange. He performed biopsies on me in past so I went back to him. But I hesitated as I wanted to look into core biopsy instead of surgery. Finally a month later I decided to schedule the surgery without doing the research. The nurse put me on with Dr. Adams instead and he tore into me about not trusting him and getting a second opinion. First of all, I never got a second opinion but did see a surgeon about my gallbladder. He was rude, mean and WEIRD. I obviously did not go back to him.

Dr. Adams performed my breast surgery and I would most definitely recommend him to any woman in need of breast biopsy, lumpectomy, breast removal, reconstruction. I found Dr. Adams to be compassionate as well as knowing just how to communicate with me about my diagnosis.
