Dr. Wilfredo Rodriguez, MD

Dr. Rodriguez is new director of the mental health clinic at the Northern Arizona VA Healthcare System. He is responsible for medical negligence for me as a veteran with a service-connected disability rating of 100 percent. He and his psychiatrists have denied me treatment that I need, have refused to consult with my epileptologist, or in the alternative provide me a referral to an outside psychiatrist who is willing to work in collaboration with my epileptologist on the treatment that is routinely provided by a psychiatrist for patients with the co-morbid condition that I have and has been scientifically validated by neuropsychological testing that he and his staff refuse to look at. Psychiatrists at other VAs were willing to do this on a trial basis for me years ago, but at the time I wasn’t ready to try it. Dr. Rodriguez and his staff are the reason that veterans are not getting the care they need. He should voluntarily surrender his license for the harm he’s done to me.

Dr. Rodriguez is extremely professional and it is clearly apparent that he deeply cares for his patients. He is a great listener and provides excellent treatment. If you are a veteran with mental disorders in the Pitt county area, he comes highly recommended!!
