Unfriendly Pain management by disinterested doctor
I found Dr Hynes to have a decidedly unfriendly and unpleasant attitude. It seemed like there was someplace else he'd rather be and it really seemed that he preferred not be treating me at all. I was so struck by this that I'm actually glad I found this location to give this review of him. I had heard negative things about him before my appointment and I just didn't give them much credence, but I see now that was a mistake. There must be someone else at Tufts Medical Center, or elsewhere, who practices pain management and takes a more thoughtful and humane approach to interacting with patients than this person, who I would absolutely not recommend under any circumstances. After the unpleasant interaction with him, I find I do not trust either the treatment he gave me or that he was particularly concerned about my care at all. I certainly will be finding another physician to help with the pain that I contend with so often .

Avoid This Doctor – Aug 21, 2024

Unprofessional
Has an horrible attitute. The way he communicates with his patients is highly unprofessional. Comes off as someone who could not care less about helping. Seems that he is burdened by the fact patient is there to talk about the issues they are having. Almost as if you are interrupting his day. Very passive. Would avoid at all costs.

I've been to him for chronic back pain and can honestly say that from the time you check in right on through your treatments, he and his staff were very informative and helpful. Should I need more pain management, I'll be sure to visit him again
