Dr. Whitney Liddy, MD

Dr Liddy was assigned to my wife's thyroid cancer case and how fortunate we were. She's extremely competent (runs the residency program at Northwestern) and most of all has an exemplary bedside manner. My wife was frantic at having a 3rd type of cancer and Dr Liddy handled the diagnosis, surgery, and post-op in the best possible way at every stage. She listened both emotionally and to our half-informed but detailed questions with patience and empathy. Do whatever you can to have her assigned to your case.

She is an amazing doctor. Amazing bed side manner. she is very patient and knowledgeable. She addressed all the questions and took time to explain her approach. She did my thyroid biopsy and she was very gentle. Very organized office and she followed up with me immediately after the biopsy. Congratulations to her for being a caring and skilled doctor.

I do not recommend Dr. Liddy to anyone. I was recommended to go to Dr. Whitney Liddy for a parathyroid ultrasound, which she could not accomplish. She suggedted I go across the street to get the ultrasound. She then went outside her “frame” and bragged about being a surgeon (38 yrs. old) and she insinuated I may have Myeloma a most deadly Cancer. I kept telling her my hematologist said no, that was not my issue. She kept calling my hematologist an oncologist, again and again. I found a great doctor at Northwestern, Dr. Sturgeon who diagnosed me with Hyperparathyroidism. Choose another doctor. She upset me very much and is unethical!

You can find no better Dr in this field, Look no further. Dr Liddy is caring, she gives you all the details needed. She explains and takes the time. Professional woman.

I had my surgery last August, I was very pleased with surgery. I have had no complaints after and now. I am going to schedule another appointment to see Dr. Liddy for my ear problem. Dr. Liddy is very professional and a caring Doctor.

Highly knowledgeable in her field and very professional. Wonderful to talk with and gives you the straight talk. Could not be more pleased with office visit and overall level of experience. It it is rather uncommon these days to get such a knowledgeable and understanding doctor. Dr. Liddy spend more time with patients than other doctors and you walk out with no questions unanswered.

Dr. Liddy is an EXCELLENT surgeon and wonderful person! My life was saved due to her. I had been misdiagnosed and by the time she saw me, my thyroid was huge and choking me to death! She treated me, operated, and thereby saved me. I continued with her after surgery as I trusted no one else at this point. She is very caring, thoughtful and very calming. Her personality is kind and she is soft spoken and smily. She has all the qualities a doctor should have - she is the very best!!
