Arrogant and ill-informed
Dr Jones conforms to the type of physician who is too busy to talk to her patients because she knows better- She was hostile upon entering the exam room and then became irate when I tried to slow her down-- She was irritated that I was asking questions about the latest CDC approved protocols for my condition and immediately took a politically hostile stance and ultimately denied me standard of care medicine preferring to prescribe excessive amounts of antibiotics-- I filled complaints with Dignity and with Blue Shield and with the state medical board--

Arrived very sick, left having been reprimanded
I had been very sick for 5 days. Fatigue, no appetite, ParchedLethargic, unable to do anything. Dr. Jones was more interested in my arriving without any Medical information on me. Kind of berated me and said ‘how can I treat the whole person’ without knowing your medications and any prior tests. I just wanted to have her focus on me and my present situation, do basic tests not talk ..she finally sent me off with a prescription for a Thyroid medication. Never drew my blood and no Urine test which are pretty standard ‘tell all’ tests, necessary and easy …I left and went back to bed. My friends were so scared for me they drove from SF to SC the next morning with an appointment already at UCSF ER. Turns out I had a urinary tract infection (UTI). Within 30 minutes of my appointment they had drawn blood and gotten a Urine sample. I had the prescription in hand within the hour.!! Dr Jones needs better skills and to Look & Listen to her patients .with more interest than HER story…

Dr.Jones is an amazing doctor and human being
I met Dr. Jones in an urgent care visit and I am mediately loved her. She got me she is smart she listens she spends time she’s not arrogant but she is an amazing strong woman. She is also super funny intelligent and has been incredibly compassionate towards me as I have a very complex medical case. She gives very good advice. What a gem. I have been in and out of hospitals, my entire life, because I was born very ill and I’ve had a lot of doctors in my life and there’s only two others that even come close to her. What an amazing doctor she is.God bless her. She spends time too! Love her and I am not easily impressed..

Dr Jones is rude, brusque, rushes to what she feels is the diagnosis without getting all information. Once she proclaims her diagnosis she is too busy being smug and basking in her own glory to ever entertain the notion that she may be incorrect. And explaining her reasoning behind making a diagnosis? Forget it! She is a doctor and no one who is not a doctor could understand. Accept what she says, admire her medical greatness, and leave. Ridiculous, especially when her diagnosis is the easiest, lowest common denominator “go to” explanation that, in fact, does not even cover the symptoms the patient displays. Of course she is accepting new patients: to continue to see her after the initial appointment probably means that a person has masochistic tendencies or is suffering from profound lack of self esteem. If you can avoid this doctor, you really should.

Accused me of being late for my annual exam when I was actually early. She did not have time for my questions. Instead she repeated the same asthma anecdote I’ve heard at every visit. Though I attempted to engage her intellect, she does not seem to understand the limited applicability of anecdotal evidence. For years, including under her care, I had metabolic issues bordering on needing medication. But after only one good blood test the previous year, she thought it no longer necessary to check my metabolism or even answer my questions or concerns about it.

Where do I begin with the mess that was my visit with Dr. Jones... When asking about my family history, she kept implying that my dad got a debilitating virus that eventually took his life by cheating on my mom, even after I told her my family knows with 100% certainty he never cheated and know exactly how he got the virus. Extremely insulting and offensive. She was flippant about my experience with sexual assault, even trying to make a joke out of it. She made assumptions about a chronic problem I’ve been experiencing all while disregarding my own careful observations that contradicted her hypothesis. Lastly, without asking thorough questions about my history with mental health and without seeking to fully understand all of my complex symptoms, she prescribed me one of the most controversial and intense psychotropic medications in its category. Save yourself the pain and frustration and find a more qualified and empathetic dr. I am still disgusted by my experience with Dr. Jones.

She convinced me to give blood sample to do a allergy/blood sugar test, but instead ran a drug test, and never ran the test for blood sugar or allergies. I was there because I was having a negative reaction to eye medication. Would never get an an appointment with Whay again

My experience with Dr. Jones was great! From the onset she was very attentive and aware. Seeing there was much to record in terms of Medical History, she was very graceful in her ability to be personable and succinct with the time we had, all the while recording it down on computer. She was very insightful and I can tell she has much experience and knowledge in her field of Medicine. I highly recommend her!
