I was referred to Dr. Girod for a procedure. He asked questions and didn’t make me feel rushed. He explained everything thoroughly. Dr. Girod and the staff at Southern Surgery were excellent! I would highly recommend them.

As a follow up to a previous positive comment: Dr. Girod and his team, worked for 2 hours on my son to remove a football size adrenal gland that had attached itself to his pancreas and to the artery going into the kidney. Being very careful to wash the area out several times due to the gland falling apart. A 30 minute surgery lasted 2 hours, but Dr Girod would not give up! The diagnoses was adrenocortical carcinoma. How blessed we are with what he and the team did. My son just had his 2nd visit at MD Anderson cancer Center. Result again is: BLOOD WORK.. PERFECT; NO EVIDENCE of the cancer in his body and NO CHEMO NOR RADIATION TREATMENTS! How BLESSED we are that GOD chose this man to see him and to do the meticulous surgery! Thank you Dr. Girod. May God continue to bless you!
