She knew what needed to be done, completed the surgery within 2 weeks and I was pain free the same day. I am now having another issue and scheduled to see her again

She knew exactly what was wrong with me and how to fix it. She scheduled the surgery as soon as it was available on her busy schedule and performed a successful surgery. The office was great and easy to work with. My pain is gone and will never come back. Nurses were very knowledgeable and helpful and returned phone calls quickly.

It took 7 weeks for my appointment to arrive and she tried to reschedule the day before. I changed the time for later the same day as I had taken off work for appointment. It was a pitiful exam compared to physical therapy and chiropractor, but she ordered my MRI, YAY! when the results came in her nurse called me and gave me a 3 sentence report. No prognosis, treatment options, and she didn't want to see me again. Luckily my primary care had already set me up with pain management or I would still be in the dark about what to do next. I guess if you are nonsurgical you don't matter!

She asked several questions and dismissed me, saying there was nothing she could do for me.

Dr Spangler and her staff are excellent!! I am now pain free after 2 back surgeries. I would highly recommend her.

The most professional attention I received in my eight month journey of extreme pain. I made a long list of questions to ask for my initial appointment. She walked in introduced herself and proceeded to answer ever concern I had plus many I had not thought of. My initial experience was long and painful for over six months, from going to my GP, to the orthopedic doctor, to getting an MRI, to pain management doctor, then back to the pain management doctor two more times only after physical therapy. Pain meds that made me sick and excruciating pain, not sleeping, not really moving, any very depressing. Dr. Spangler-Morrison did my surgey 2 weeks after the first office visit. The pain relief was gone after healing 2-3 weeks from surgery. I have NO pain just a little stiffness and working with physical therapist's. Waste of my time. No exam just looked at my mri and said nothing was wrong. Not sympathetic or caring at all. Tried to tell me my symptoms had nothing to do with my spine. Won’t go back. Office unprofessional.

Horrible…will not go back. Dismissive. Did not go over my MRI…just commented that there was a lot of stuff. Sent me for EMG tests and more X-rays. Have not heard from her. I do not want surgery…I would like to know if it is needed, or if this is now my life, and adapt. If I needed surgery I would not go to her for sure! I was referred to Dr Clough and wish I had waited 9 months to see him. I doubt that I would go to anymore doctors at this point. She acted like I was wasting her time…it was definitely a waste of my time.

In person she seemed fine but when I made a follow up phone call with some questions was kind of blown off. I was told - we already told you to try these couple of things. She told me to try one of those things but not the other. I feel like she was done with me as a patient. No big deal I am done with her as a doctor.

She was very cold, unsympathetic and snotty about it. Kind of an aggressive irritability. Would never recommend her to anyone. Very bad experience, I left crying. I couldn't believe what I was seeing when she was almost rolling her eyes at one point.

Dr. Spangler performed surgery August 29. Pain had lasted several months after unsuccessful treatment. Physical therapy, epidural shot and massages were ineffective. Pain was immediately gone and after a 8 week recovery was playing golf again. Highly recommend Dr. Spangler.

When I met Dr Spangler I knew she had horrid bedside manner, but I trusted her to perform my surgery. I wish I had found a different surgeon. After my surgery, she was more focused on getting me out of the hospital than managing my pain effectively. Once I was out of the hospital, due to an error my pain medication didn't get sent to the pharmacy. When I ended up speaking with her about it, she was defensive and rude about how why I was even talking to her at all. She behaved like a child when I told her about the pharmacy error and was more worried about telling me how none of this was her fault instead of helping me solve the medication problem. My surgery appears to have gone fine, but I'd avoid having her do your surgery if you have the option.

My uncle went to Dr. Spangler for a back surgery. It became infected after surgery and after she treated it once she refused to see him again. She didn’t even look at the incision. He had a tennis ball sized lump on the incision and she wouldn’t even look at it. The infection spread to his vertebrae and it was left untreated for months due to her failure to act, she didn’t even bother to return his calls. Now because of this, he will never be able to work again and is left in severe pain.

Dr Spangler did an excellent surgery on my 95 year old dad’s back when other doctors had given up on him. He has been pain free since the surgery, and we are so grateful for her expertise!

Did a spinal fusion on me that failed and was confirmed on XRAY and mri but she refused to fix it. This was confirmed by two other neurosurgeons, 1 of which fixed her mess. She refused to admit her failure.

Very intelligent neurosurgeon, cold and to the point. When you read about physicians who care her name will not appear

Dr. SPANGLER is phenomenal! Professional and friendly. Takes the time YOU as a whole. I had my surgery at the Farnam hospital next door and can't say enough about my entire experience from the check in ladies....nurses...staff and Dr. Spangler! Been in and out of hospitals and have had a few surgeries...If ONLY all hospitals, staff and Doctors were as awesome as this place! Thank you Dr. Spangler and staff!!!!

I suffered with severe neck, shoulder pain and arm weakness do to auto accident. I had been to other Drs over a years time that sent me to physical therapy several times and injections that did little to relieve my pain. Dr Spangler recommended Double cervical fusion. After surgery I had immediate relief and after three months I was back to work and felt Great. A year after surgery I feel great and have had no problems. Thanks to Dr. Spangler and her staff.

Dr. Spangler's office needed my med records before they saw me. I released them and asked that they be sent. I got a call saying they had an opening. We drove 50 miles to find out they didn't have my most recent MRI and needed it before we could discuss anything. She would call when she got it. I waited 3 weeks after she got it and she never called, despite my calling x2. I asked for my records back and I am looking for a different surgeon. So I have no idea what kind of surgeon she is.
