Dr. Wei Diao, MD

We met Dr Diao when I was in the hospital after giving birth to my son. We immediately liked her and chose her to be our son's doctor, and after a few visits my husband and I decided to make her our primary doctor as well. We've had several appointments with her (all the well-child visits from birth to 2 years old as well as appointments for my husband and me), and have had nothing but positive experiences with her. She is great with my son, answers all of our questions clearly, never makes us feel rushed, and really listens to our concerns. I would definitely recommend Dr. Diao, especially if you are looking for care for multiple family members.

She has the worst bedside manner. After her assistant informed her that I have low blood pressure, she came in and asked me in a very dramatic and sarcastic tone, "Are you fainting?!!" She was overall very condescending and did not use active listening at all. She didn't care about what I had to say regarding my previous doctors' suggestions and diagnoses, but instead ordered me a bunch of tests I didn't need and scheduled an appointment with a specialist, which I also didn't need. She changed a prescription to my medication without reason, and this caused side effects that I have had to deal with for months.

One of the worst doctors I've ever had. She seems like she has some sort of narcissistic personality disorder. She is very cold and arrogant and doesn't care about her patients. She will subtlety insult her patients by implying that they have STD's, underweight, overweight, and prescribe tests that are unnecessary to make the hospital more money. She doesn't have the patience or knowledge to answer questions properly, and instead gets angry and passive aggressive.
