Dr. Wayne Richey, MD

I see Dr Richey twice a year as he is overseer of my general health. I have been seeing him for 17 years, and though I moved 50 miles away, I still return to him. He is very patient, knowledgeable, and thorough in his practice. Most of all, he is trustworthy. Dr Richey was instrumental in correctly informing me of the benefits of natural immunity following a bout I had with Covid-19 back in early 2021. He didn't twist my arm one way or another, but simply gave me facts that helped me make an informed decision. This was during a time when NOT getting the vaccine was very unpopular, yet today I am grateful that I did not get the experimental drug injection. My last visit was for a 6 month follow-up along with lab work. My wait time was minimal, yet when Dr Richey entered the exam room he sat down and patiently reviewed my history & addressed my current needs. I appreciate his honesty and un-hurried approach to healthcare, and I am always satisfied before leaving.

I commute to Chattanooga, so using Dr. Richey as my PCP is driving in the "wrong" direction for me nowadays, but his care is so outstanding that I have returned to him after failing to find a satisfactory PCP in Chattanooga. Very glad to be back and will not be straying again! He takes the time to listen and answer questions and I feel his assessments are more accurate than other PCP's I've been to. I'm also grateful that his scheduling folks do not triple-book patients like so many doctors' schedulers do, so in all these years I have yet to experience a long wait at this practice. I do wish the practice had kept the 7 a.m. opening time because that was definitely more convenient for me, but it certainly isn't a deal-breaker.

I have a recent visit with Redmond Family Care, With Physician, Dr. Richy. I want to say, that the Ladies up front in the office and Dr. Richy's Nurse, are so welcoming, and friendly, They all make you feel at ease, as we all know, Dr. Visits make everyone a little nervous, I recommend this Team of Dr. Staff, and Nurses, to anyone, Serious about the Healthcare of themselves, Family and friends, Great group of people.

Dr. Richey is friendly, a good listener, answers all my questions, and is very thorough in all his assessments. His recommendations are invaluable to keeping my general health in the "good" range. I look forward to my appointments with this healthcare provider.

I have been seeing Dr. Richey for a few years and I will continue to use this doctor. He listens when I have a question or concern and he always strives to find answers to all my questions.

There is no way I can put in to words how great Dr. Richey and his staff are. The people in the front office are always friendly and courteous and always have a smile on their face. Excellent initial visit with Dr. Richey. He was thorough, his questions focused on current issues, he was knowledgeable and made my visit very relaxed and comfortable. Perhaps most importantly, he listened. I had a fairly new procedure last year, a LINX implant, and Dr. Richey's interest impressed me. My surgeon seems to be the only truly knowledgeable physician relating to the esophageal implant and I believe Dr. Richey will become well informed as we progress.

Dr Richey has always taken adequate time for my apppointments. He actually listens to your complaints and ideas. He does not resent my input and attempt to help with my treatment plan. He understands that the patient to doctor communication is often the key to successful treatment. Thumbs up from me! I may sound over enthusiastic but he is a huge improvement compared to my 60 years of Dr visits.
