Dr. Johnson did an incredible rotator cuff surgery on me. He also is kind and compassionate as well as extremely knowledgeable. I recommend him highly. I have full range of motion now in a short amount of time

Dr. Johnson repaired both of my shoulders for torn rotator cups. Left shoulder in 2020, right shoulder in 2021. Both procedures were successful with very little pain afterwards. Left shoulder is back 100%. Right shoulder is healing as planned with no side effects. With both surgeries, Dr Johnson & Staff along with Hospital Associates were exceptional. Dr Johnson was courteous, professional and took the time to explain the procedures. Without hesitation I would highly recommend Dr. Johnson.

I had a meniscus tear and he repaired it. His team and him were great. They checked on me often and anytime I had an issue they tried there best to fix it. They were great and recommend them. If I ever have to have surgery again, I only want Dr. Johnson to perform it.

Dr. Wayne Johnson has been my family's orthopedic surgeon since 2005. He has taken care of my left shoulder, my right shoulder, my husband's broken leg (in three places), my granddaughter's right knee which was severely injured in track. Through telehealth, he also helped my daughter with major issues with her knees, legs, shoulders... Our family highly recommends this amazing doctor. He is brilliant, caring, and very thorough.

My experience with Dr. Johnson was very negative because he didn't tell me the truth about my MRI results after I repeatedly asked if he read them. He wasn't aware that I already had and am very aware because I research every possible scenario before seeing any doctor. First, I don't pay a doctor to be lied to! Second, he needs to put up the images and show the patient what is going on. Instead, before even touching or examining me, he walked in and told me what my condition is (without any tears, which I do have) and continued to treat me from there. I will not be back! He is incompetent and does NOT explain things well, but leads you to believe he does.

Dr. Johnson operated on my wrist to remove a cyst, he cut through my median nerve. I went back to see him a while later to see if he could help my continuous nerve pain. He sent me to a hand specialist which found that he cut through the entire nerve. I have to live with his mistake, I can no longer teach, I had to quit after 14 years. It is not repairable because he may give me “claw hand” if it is operated on any more. When I let him know that he cut the median nerve he told me he “Strives for perfection”. Just go to someone else. I can’t believe he’s allowed to keep operating on people. I guess he can’t operate at southwestern anymore. I went to see a lawyer and he said he had 2-3 people a week in there to sue Dr. Johnson but they couldn’t quite catch him. The hand specialist cursed at his name and told me he’s tired of Johnson sending him patients after he’s messed them up, and expecting him to fix them.

Terrible experience. I had to get a second surgery to fix the ACL reconstruction Dr Johnson did. I wasn't able to get full extension in my knee because of his incompetence. I wasn't able to get into the military because of having two ACL reconstruction surgeries due to the fact Dr Johnson did not do the first one correctly. All my experience with trying to get my medical files as well has been a nightmare.

I made an appointment with Dr. Johnson in May 20016 for my ankle. I had a bad slip and fall that cause me to hurt my ankle, feet, hip, leg, tailbone, and back. First, I couldn't walk when this first happen and I was in so much pain. Also, I cried so much because when I fell I was so hurt and embarrassed, but when I met Dr. Johnson for my injuries, he made me feel like part of his family and I know there is a Heaven and a God in Heaven, because He sent Dr. Johnson to take care me on earth..

I'm a 65 year-old female. Dr. Johnson performed a rotator cuff repair and decompression on my right shoulder. They gave me a nerve block before starting surgery. After surgery I had little pain. Even the following days I only had pain if I moved my arm the wrong way. I did not need to take any pain meds and wore my sling for almost 3 weeks instead of the 6 six they said. Now at 7 weeks, I have my full range of motion back and just a little aching that gets better every day.
