Dr. Stearns did not address any of my concerns and did not give me adequate care in the areas that I needed. He did not prescribe medication to help me and insisted that I see a therapist instead.

I was in the OSU nuthouse (Harding) against my will because my unbearable MS pain was mistaken for insanity. He PUSHED gabapentin on me as if I was there for drug addiction. (I've never been addicted to any drug.) I resisted until I had no choice (a week). Then Stearns made sure I couldn't leave for another week. Now, even though I never wanted to take that horrible drug, which did nothing to help me, I am physically dependent on it. You don't ever want to experience gabapentin withdrawal.
