Here's the thing, you are going to wait a bit in the lobby and then again back in the patient room. HOWEVER, you wait, because Halpenny spends ample time with his patients. He listens to you, addresses your concerns, spends time with your child, and takes the time to thoroughly EXPLAIN what's going on. All the doctors at this pediatric center are awesome, but Halpenny goes above and beyond the rest. I have literally never met a more caring, knowledgeable, and sincere doctor. As far as being "too aggressive with parent concerns", well it's your kid, so they are going to take what you say seriously and at face value. I would, hands down, rather spend extra money on suggested tests only to find out my child is perfectly fine than either get a bad report or not find something early enough. Some parents don't seem much like parents when complaining about things like that, imo. Anyway, Halpenny rocks, and you would be hard pressed to find a better pediatrician out there, seriously.

Dr. Halpenny is definitely the best pediatrician any of my kids have ever had. We've been going to him since 2009. He is very personable, caring, thorough, and extremely informative. Dr. Halpenny takes the time to address everything that is or could be going on with my kid's health. I am always impressed with how much he converses with my son, answering all his questions and educating him throughout the appointment. Sometimes the wait can be a little long BUT the time he puts into your child is well worth the wait.

Do NOT go to this doctor's office. I'm sure they really are concerned for their patients but when it comes down to it they will pass the buck and send you off to in a panic to get the most expensive medical care possible. My wife called in to let the nurse and doctor know our son was acting strangely and they panicked and told her to go immediately to the ER to get checked out without looking looking at him. He was of course fine but we have loads of debt from unnecessary procedures.

His staff disrespected myself and does not care about your time. Do not take your child here you will regret it. We arrived 15 prior to our appointment and waited over and hour to be called back. There were families who arrived 30minutes after our scheduled time and they went back before us. When I asked about it I was told they were just late for their appointment. If I’m more then 15 minutes late I’m asked to reschedule yet you give them my appointment time and my child suffers

Dr. Halpenny is one of the reasons I am choosing a career in medicine. I've been his patient since I was 2 and the way he has cared for me and my family for the last 16 years has inspired me to become as loving of a doctor as he is. My greatest experience with Dr. H is when he called me twice to inform me that I couldn't run my cross-country meet because he had found a stress fracture. His first call went to voicemail and he called again just to express his sympathy, all of this after hours.

Our family loves Dr.Halpenny! We have been with him since 2016 and have only great things to say about him and his nurses! Dr. Halpenny takes interest in our babies and gives us great advice. He is very attentive and encouraging when we have questions or concerns. Dr. Halpenny is old fashioned - which we love and he would not recommend anything unless he fully supports it. We are blessed to have him as our family pediatrician.

My 2 children were patients for Dr. HALPENNY In 1992-approximately 2005. My daughter received antibiotics then more antibiotics, until she became so ill with c difficile for over a month with ABSOLUTELY NO care or concern fom any dr.s in this practice, especially dr. Halpenny. Seemed like he was no longer the quality Dr. that he started out to be when his practice grew to be very large.
