Its not my visit at all. Its my husbands'- My husband has been going to Dr. Guthrie, Gastroenterologist, for treatment of pancreatitis and now pancreatic cysts. He has complained continuously about the pain and has taken numerous CT scans that have shown multiple cysts on his pancreas. A biopsy was completed several months ago though the cysts were non cancerous and drained. He is currently in Emory Midtown waiting for drainage of the cysts once again!!! He has been there since March 24th. My issue is .......not being able to be in attendance at the hospital, Dr. Guthrie has not contacted me, nor his daughters to advise as to what his intentions are as to treatment and followup. My husband is scheduled for drainage of the cysts on MONDAY, 03/29/21-without family notification - how callous. My husband is not homeless, is a veteran, a father, a husband and a paying citizen with insurance/Medicare. It seems this procedure is an infection waiting to happen.

My husband had two procedures done by Dr. Guthrie. He is very nice, personable, and knowledgeable. He is highly recommended by us. Several nurses shared with us that we have an awesome Doctor and are in good hands.

I just had a procedure done by Dr. Guthrie. It went fantastic. He is so nice, punctual, and knowledgeable that I have to share with you. I highly recommend Dr. Guthrie.
