Dr. Waiho Lum, MD

I have been to Forest Urgent Care a number of times and Dr. Lum has been the attending physician. I have been very satisfied with his care. He has been friendly, explained things clearly and addressed my issues in a satisfactory fashion.

Office very accommodating... Dr. Lum most attentive to injured forefinger.. x-rays -and tetanus shot provided.. Honest and trusted evaluation.. Finger and nail healing well..

They checked me for covid due to my symptoms and asthma. I wasn't feeling any better, and now in this pandemic it's hard to get to your doctor so I came here. The last time I was here they told me I should go to the ER since my oxygen levels were borderline low. I went to a lung doctor and they told me not to go to an urgent care for 95% oxygen and not to this one especially. They didn't really do much that last time.

Dr. Lum is one of the most wonderful caring empathetic and brilliant drs I have been to for urgent ER Medicine care. He listens and does the right thing everytime. He is an absolute pleasure to work with. I always feel better after he treats me. The best Urgent Care in all of Forest Hills by far. And I am ill and have been to them all. Go see him you will be taken great care of. Thank you Dr Lum for always helping me.

We went to Dr. Lum at his urgent care facility in 2009 when we moved to Forest Hills. It took only one visit to know that we did not need to look any further for primary care doctor. His thoroughness, his respectfulness, his genuine concern - we lucked out and so will you. Saturday and Sunday hours also. Our wait is always shorter than a scheduled appointment with any other doctor in their own office. Truly a wonderful doctor who hopefully will never ever leave Forest Hills!

Dr.Lum is a very caring,thorough physician,has wonderful medical knowledge,and spends as much time as you need in his care.I strongly recommend Dr.Lum when you need prompt and excellent Urgent Care in Forest Hills.Dr.Lum also has a very caring excellent support staff.

Dr Lum is one of the few Doctors who really cares for his patients. Most important he is very highly trained and his expertise is beyond other doctors that I have seen. He correctly diagnosed what so many other doctors overlooked. I swear by Dr Lum

I have seen Dr. Lum a number of times this past year for a variety of issues at his Urgent Care Clinic. Dr. Lum always listens to my concerns then suggests treatment options to me. Most recently, I was having back pain that my excellent chiropractor wasn't able to alleviate. He suggested that I contact my PCP to discuss an ultrasound to rule out gall stones or gall bladder issues. My PCP dismissed my concerns. I went to Dr. Lum for a 2nd option and he scheduled the ultrasound. He truly cares.
