Dr. Wageh Azer, MD

I'm always happy with Dr. Azer, he's been my Primary Doctor for many years.

Very efficient but was very caring and explained things.

I am super satisfied with the kindness and effect service received from Dr. Azar

Care provider didn't seem to care and all he was worried about was getting through his rounds. I won't be returning to optum.

Every single time I see Dr. Azer, for the past few years, I feel like he just wants me out as soon as possible. He doesn't seem to care about things I bring up; he seems very dismissive about it and I feel like every question I ask is a stupid question. He doesn't even give concrete answers, all he does is refer to other specialists, and makes me wonder what's the point of having a primary care physician in the first place if I'll be sent elsewhere for whatever. And for some of the answers he does share to me, I just don't think they're right, but given his tone I can't have a conversation with him; he just wants me out. And I am very worried that he will misdiagnose given his efforts, or rather lack of. He doesn't seem to remember follow up appointments either. I had a follow up appointment scheduled next year for X, and after I ask about it he says it's actually for Y. I even had the appointment card with the purpose written down. It's very confusing for him and I think his age is starting to show. I have such a strong urge to get his name out on a public review, urging folks to stay away from him, but I do not want that to hinder my future interactions with Dr. Azer. I am on my way out finding another primary care HCP.

You're rescheduling policy for being more than 10 minutes. Late is unreasonable and should be stopped. Immediately. You almost lost my business.

The nurse practitioner was fantastic!

Dr. Azer is always very informative and describes treatment plans.

Dr. Azer always discussed options and listens to my input. We create the treatment plan together. He was very empathetic to my discomfort as the reason for this visit.

There wasn't much discussion about my prescriptions, I mentioned wanting an IUD under anesthesia and was told people don't do that (they do), and there was no discussion about why I was getting a pap that day - I had an abnormal pap and a colpopscopy 6 months earlier, but somehow that never came up.

Did take EKG at office but somewhat discounted readings taken from an Apple watch. Regardless, srill recommended to see a specialist and a referral was generated.
