I had imagined the worst and was very anxious about my diagnosis and even more so, how it would be treated. The doctor put my mind at ease and gave me a thorough explanation of diagnosis and proposed treatment. He was sympathetic and listened about my concerns. He made sure I had a thorough understanding of what's ahead.

I was encouraged to go to Dr. Massry by my DO's nurse. I needed extensive surgery for cancer. Not only is he caring and gentle, he is an excellent surgeon. He explained everything with terms that I could understand and all my questions were dealt with. The whole waiting room full of family and friends were impressed by his manner. He explained everything to them and answered their questions.I am so glad that I listened to her. So I recommend him highly if you want the doctor that you've always wanted to give you full care.

I was just diagnosed with cancer with Dr. Massry on September 24th. He is already getting me in for surgery to remove my tumor the following Monday. He seems very caring and professional, yet personable. I feel quite lucky to be in his care. I would definitely recommend the Oncology Staff at Tacoma General Hospital!
