Neurology appt
I think Dr kamel is a very friendly doctor and respectful. He is very thorough with his exams and tests he orders. He found the best medicine for my cluster headaches and migraines. His office is very busy so I suggest you go to your appt at least an hr and hr and half earlier. You will be waiting a while if you don’t go early. The office is small and the staff is friendly they just need to be more organized.

Dr. Kamel and his professional staff are wonderful, caring providers. Everyone from the telephone receptionist to the billing department made a great impression and convey a sense of patience, calm, and peace, which makes a great difference in healing an agitated neurology patient during these hectic and unpredictable times. Thank you for your knowledge and time!

I was overall very impressed with everything. From the time I spent waiting for my appointment and the time and care from Dr. Kamel and his staff. They explained every single concern and symptom that I have. I would definitely recommend this place to my friends and colleagues.

The receptionists don’t know how to properly schedule appointments, terrible service. You call to make an appointment and hopefully after 3 months you got there and they say you never made an appointment, they make u wait outside their office for 2 hours in the hallway.. be ready to suffer at your favorite nerve’s doctor’s office!

I never wrote a review on a doctor because I have respect for doctors. Today I couldn't help myself not writing about Dr. Kamel because I don't want someone else to be a victim of his visit. He is the worse Dr. I have ever seen. His staff is horrible. This doctor does all sorts of test just to make the money from the insurance company and collect the deductible from the patients. He did test on me that I never even requested and they don't even tell you what the tests are for. I just received a bill for $1749. 60 and on top he submitted to the insurance $6,083. He submitted a office visit to my insurance which I never even made the appointment or visited his office. Please don't go to this doctor. He is a scammer.

In a word, HORRIBLE. He keeps people waiting in the narrow public building hall, where you exit the elevator, you cannot get into his waiting room, he takes only ONE PERSON in and the rest are crammed up in the buildings hallway, shoulder to shoulder , during COVID. There was a man, of about 85 yrs of age, who had no chair, and had to lean on a wall with his cane .. meanwhile the patients are practically shoulder to shoulder, From there, it goes downhill ... look further, between his very unfriendly staff, and lack of information or help from him, it is a waste of time, I would look for someone else ... there are many other neurologists in the area.

It baffles me how this guy is in business. He is arrogant and incompetent. I was beside myself after my first visit seeking his help with concerning symptoms. I couldnt figure out the reason for his negligence and insensitivity other than him being either tired from the day or not being able to write me a script to profit off of. He virtually showed no interest or effort in wanting to help me to say the least but sent a bill for $700 for virtually no exchange.

My mom saw Kamel, MD on two occasions, he ordered an MRI of the brain for her, we took her to get scan and waited for results. Her appointment was cancelled and when we called to find out her results we were told that he wanted to do another test, but insurance denied it, so we said can we get the results of the MRI at least and never received an answer. We called several times, left messages so He can call us and he never did. I

Beware, Dr. Kamel is only interested in conducting as many tests on you as possible. On top of my 35 dollar copay, I received bills twice for 70 for the tests he conducted. His office staff is horribly incompetent and and are lacking customer/patient service and organizational skills. They tell you they will call you back and don't. I tried to pay a bill 8 days ago and they still have not run the charge. I had to call billing to pay and she was going to pass info to his office.

WORSE experience, If I could rate him a 0 star. I must warn THIS IS NOT A CHILD FRIENDLY OFFICE. I was given nasty attitude from the reception and doctor bc my 1 yr old decided to laugh out loud, doc the first thing he says is that you son? I said yes. Then he proceeded to tell me that if I don't bring him in the room with me he won't see me. His office is not child friendly n I would disturb other patients. I wish they would told me earlier and not wasted 3hrs of our time. I ended up leaving.
